Thanks for that Doc! Very handy. Can we all manage that trick? It could be a good way of getting some of the rare texts linked to the new site, the easier it is to access them the more they will be used.

Morning All

The link in the fist post is broken and could lead to confusion

Not Found

The requested URL /archiveogfb/www.oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk/forumdfcd.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Cheers

Kev, I think I've tried to repost all the back issues in Stanley's View on this platform and the research notes as well. I occasionally find one I've missed and pop it in.

Yes Kev, unfortunately the archive code is severely damaged, the mirroring of the old site did not go exactly to plan when Doc did the recovery. I altered the text in the link from the home page accordingly.

I've always accessed the old articles by clicking on 'Board Index' in the banner above and then choosing Stanley's View or any of the other topics. Can't everyone do that?

There is no problem now accessing the back issues since they were reposted. The problem with this thread is that it is redundant as it stands as it was put up shortly after the major crash and site software change when the only source for the files was the old damaged mirror. I could modify it but it would probably be better just to delete it as they can all be accessed from the home page like any of the other content.

Whatever you do is OK by me Ian. I shall just carry on restoring them as I do now. If there's any problem with that give me a shout.....
