It's the temple of Bacchus at Baalbek, Lebanon, 150 AD. This stunning Roman temple, still very well preserved, is actually larger than the Parthenon.

I should know what it is but I'm struggling to remember. An alternative to a corkscrew? Slide the two strips down twixt cork and bottle, rotate then pull. The handle also serves to prise off crown caps from bottles.

You are all right about it being a newly opened box. I have an idea it was paper tissues but that's beside the point.

It is lined with Velcro Ian and it does wrap but what's the salient and unique thing about it?

Sorry Kev but no, this was designed to go on a wrist. There is something unique about it that nobody has mentioned. The clue is in the image. I snapped it as it hung on the fridge door..... :biggrin2:

You've got it Ian! It has five magnets in the wide part. I used it when I was recovering from a broken wrist and I think it helped. I can't say whether it was the magnets or the support but it worked.
