I'll not reveal anything but if you watch after the end of Baptiste, they give a link to two other series that introduced the French detective. Both of which are now available in full on the BBC iPlayer. Might give those a binge watch at some point when it's chucking it down. :biggrin2:

Was he not arrested in the police raid 'flashback' scene? I thought I recognised his pony tail.

I found myself channel hopping to the final 15 minutes of Baptiste - well it certainly was different - not a situation you'd come across very often.

'Looking forward' to Mother Father Son on catch up..... I am not hopeful but will have to see it through to the end now.
I tried to access the Bay but the ITV hub told me it was 'unavailable'. I'll try again.....

We watched the first 2 episodes of Tutti Frutti last night which is being shown on the new BBC Scotland channel. A wonderful blast from the past ..... can't believe it's over 30 years since we first saw it. Robbie Coltrane, Emma Thompson, Richard Wilson all looking youthful.

I stumbled into 'A Few Dollars More' spaghetti western. I had forgotten much of it. It starts with Lee van Cleef alighting with his horse at Tucumcari.
Here's the Wikipedia version of the name:- In 1901, the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad built a construction camp in the western portion of modern-day Quay County. Originally called Ragtown, the camp became known as Six Shooter Siding, due to numerous gunfights. Its first formal name, Douglas, was used only for a short time. After it grew into a permanent settlement, it was renamed Tucumcari in 1908. The name was taken from Tucumcari Mountain, which is situated near the community. Where the mountain got its name is uncertain. It may have come from the Comanche word tʉkamʉkarʉ, which means 'ambush'. A 1777 burial record mentions a Comanche woman and her child captured in a battle at Cuchuncari, which is believed to be an early version of the name Tucumcari.
The local version is that in 1908 it was known as Two Gun Crossing and the city boosters decided to name it after a Native American princess. The point being that in the era of the film it was most probably not called Tucumcari but Two Gun Crossing! (Not many people know this :biggrin2: ....)

The 'Race around the world' has reached the China - Vietnam border, and some of them have just passed through Nanning. Not far from where Chinatyke lives in Pingguo. It's a lot larger and a lot more modern than I imagined, and it was raining.

I've liked Line of Duty from the start but I found Sunday's episode difficult because of the frequent use of police acronyms....reminded me of my time in Ofsted. Just checked with Google and The Sun comes to the rescue. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/ ... itv-drama/ Nolic
