Yup! That's Doctor Green, cows being let out for the first time after a winter indoors. It's even better if it's young stock, You'd be amazed at the speed stirks can get up to.
(And some keepers of livestock deny them this, they keep them in on concrete all year round and cut and carry the grass to them. I think you can guess what I think of that!)
That cheered me up!

Gosh the cows just kept coming.
Love to think that the cows are happy. 😀 🐮

That's exactly why I like to see it also Cathy. Sometimes when we let the calves out they hurt themselves by doing silly things like running straight into hedges but they soon got better and it didn't stop them being happy.
(And yes, cows can be happy!)

I did notice that some udders were really swinging, did they need milking?
Also the pregnant ones weren’t jumping. I felt for some of them .

No Cathy, the udders swinging is just because of the size and is a product of breed and age. The ones that were in calf would only be doing what was comfortable.....

HELP! Stanley needs a man to have a look at a leaking gutter (I think.....). I have always used FM builders but they aren't answering my calls for some reason....
Can anyone make a recommendation? Small cash job, ought to be popular..... :biggrin2:
Later..... I must have hit a nerve, F&M called back, they are coming on Friday...... :biggrin2:

I have been avoiding anything to do with Israel, the Palestinians and Gaza on the grounds that everyone knows what my position is and it hasn't changed.
However, listening to the news of the UN resolution and the reaction of Israel. (I have just heard an officer in the IDF state that no children are suffering from famine in Gaza.) They are totally ignoring the rest of the world and this only strengthens the opinions I have already voiced.
It is a total disgrace and a looming catastrophe.

The BBC have obviously got their dates confused. It's not April 1st until Monday.

Maple syrup strategic reserve. indeed. They'll be telling us that spaghetti grows on trees next.

I never saw one of these until a few days ago. They are called 'Handpans'. Thought of making them a mystery object but decided against, and I wouldn't really recommend them, so they go here. The players all seem a bit odd - they look like vegan morris dancer types to me, but who am I to judge - and they don't play tunes, just rambling relaxation type music. It's all a bit Keith and Candice Marie.

Very strange David. Closely related to oil drum lids I suppose but why bare feet?
I think you're right to associate them with Morris and such......

This is a red letter week for me. Susan and Mick fly back to the UK from Australia tomorrow night from Perth on QF9. That's an 18 hour flight and is non-stop to LHR. I think I would need a pill to knock me out!

Is a non- stop flight, half way around the world new? That’s almost mind blowing . 🤯
( that’s the second time I have used mind blowing today)

Fairly recent Cathy. It was the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner that kicked these long flights off because it is capable of doing it.

I've just seen this on the PBS America channel. I was hoping it was on Youtube, and of course it is.

Lovely start to the morning David! You're right, it is remarkable and exactly how I would walk a heavy flagstone to move it with the least effort.
