We are having sunny spells and then rain Gloria. I have just been to the Co-op for a walk and some cupboard fillers. I put my rain coat on so of course it stayed dry and sunny.....

Waste of time trying Gloria, I just put my rain coat on! :biggrin2:
Yesterday afternoon became dry with sunny spells but then deteriorated into the default overcast. At 20:00 it was gloomy and cold. First thing this morning it was clear, calm and cold and the heating was kicking in. It is still calm and clear and the heating is on in earnest. The glass is up on 1008mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a mainly dry day of broken cloud and sunny intervals. Just a chance of an odd light shower around noon. The wind will be light to moderate from the west or WNW giving us a high of 13C and a low of 1C tonight with at most a -2C wind chill. The outlook is for the cooler weather to gradually warm a little over the weekend but don't be expecting Indian Summer!

Yesterday afternoon was dry and bright but windy and cold. At 20:00 the sky was mainly clear and we settled down to a colder night. The heating was on at low level most of the day.... First thing this morning it was calm clear and cold and it hasn't changed since. I suspect we will have a frost.... The glass is up on 1022mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a calm day of sunny intervals. The SW or West wind will be light and we can expect a high of 14C and a low of 6C tonight. There will be a -2C wind chill this afternoon. Apart from a cold wet day on Sunday the outlook is for the temperature to rise slightly to the seasonal normal and for it to be dry and sunny.

Yesterday was a bright but cold afternoon and I wish I could have got out there! At 20:00 it was on the edge of dusk, the nights are drawing in. (The clocks go back on the 27th of this month.) This morning first thing it was calm, overcast and cool but dry. It hasn't changed since though the forecast predicted a shower of rain. The glass is up on 1024mb and the forecast is for the dry day to start overcast but by early morning have settled into sunny spells for the day. The constant SW winds will be moderate, gusting to 30mph and giving us a high of 17C and a low of 11C tonight with a -3C wind chill at times later. We can expect a cold wet day tomorrow and then the rest of the week dry and sunny with slightly better temperatures.

We are having a Cold Snap here in Adelaide, and some of our east coast and Tasi are expecting snow.
Our nights are definitely cold. It’s supposed to be 16C today, but feels like 10C.

Yesterday afternoon followed the pattern of the last few days staying sunny up to mid afternoon and then gradually sinking into overcast. There was some late sun under the cloud but not much and at 20:00 the overcast was thick enough to make it go dark early. Much brighter sky was to be seen on the northern horizon. First thing this morning it was calm, overcast and dry. It hasn't changed since. The glass is down on 1021mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for rain starting any time soon and persisting all day into the evening. The wind will be a moderate SW all day giving us a high of 15C and a low of 4C tonight with a -2C wind chill. Tomorrow and the rest of the week will see warmer, dry and sunny weather mostly. Not Indian summer but an improvement on what we have at the moment.

Heating is on at Chez Kev for today, looking at the Met Office forecast it'll be off again tonight. I've given up trying to get a fine balance with the thermostat, I'll wait until it gets proper cold before it's on permanently.

That's why I leave mine on all year Kev. The thermostat remembers what that balance was last year..... (The CH came on at 01:00 this morning....)
Yesterday the rain persisted until mid afternoon and then dried up into a bright overcast. At 20:00 it was dry a clearing. This morning first thing it was clear with an almost full moon. We have to wait until the 18th for that. It hasn't changed and the heating is on. The glass is up on 1024mb and the forecast is for a sunny day. The mainly westerly winds are very light and variable giving us a high of 17C and a low of 5C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for a mainly bright and dry week with slightly higher temperatures than of late.
07:00. We have the fog they mentioned in other forecasts.....

Yesterday afternoon was dry, calm and full sun, I think it counted as Indian Summer. Still clear when it was going dark at 20:00. This morning it's calm and clear and we have almost a full moon. The heating is on...... The glass is up on 1029mb and the forecast is for clear skies and full sun again all day. The constant easterly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 19C and a low of 7C with negligible wind chill. We can expect similar weather for at least two days and then it cools slightly.

Yesterday was another perfect day. At 20:00 we were reminded of how the year is moving on because despite the clear sky, it was getting dark. First thing this morning it was clear, cool and dry with a full moon. It hasn't changed since. The glass is steady on 1029mb and the forecast is for full sun all day. The constant east wind will be light to moderate giving us a high of 18C and a low of 9C tonight with up to -3C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is still for very similar weather, our luck is holding!

We are in spring well and truely now, yesterday we had 28 degrees.........much to warm for spring and about 8 degrees above normal. Today is 24 degrees ans sunny, not a cloud in the sky. There is a slight easterly breeze, much the same for the forseeable future. We are taking the caravan away this weekend for 3 nights, just an hour away from home but it is a caravan park on the the coast where the Moore River meets the Indian Ocean. We are taking Alex out of school for a day and taking him with us. Monday is a public holiday and the start of the 2 weeks school holidays.

Yesterday was another brilliant late summer's day with full sun until nightfall and going dark at 20:00. First thing this morning it was calm, cool and clear. It is still the same. The glass is down slightly on 1028mb and the forecast is again for a sunny day. The east wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 19C and a low of 11C. The outlook is for at least three more days of similar if slightly cooler weather and then reverting to the seasonal normal.
