Dad joke alert

I used to dread walking under horse chesnut trees in the autumn but, after some therapy, I've managed to conker it :biggrin2:

I bought my wife a dog to keep her company, after a year she said it had stopped responding to her. I suspected it was hair growth in the dog's ears and that she should go to the chemist and get some hair removal cream.
The following day she went and did so, before she could say anything the chemist said 'if you're using it on your legs wash it off fairly quickly as it's caustic' and 'I wouldn't recommend it on your face'.
She finally had opportunity to speak and said 'actually it's for my schnauzer' the chemist said 'avoid riding your bike for a week'.

Love Barry Humphries, but Sir Les… what was he thinking? 🤔. Eew! Humour that was exaggerated and belonged to ‘back then’. ??

Is this a joke or politics?. Both really - a bit like our politicians.

I didn't think it was either.... It certainly isn't funny and anyone who sees it as politics is on a different planet than me.

I think it's very funny, and I'd say satire is an important part of politics - so it's back the Planet Tripps for the night. . . . :laugh5:

Went to a restaurant last night, the waiter said
"For starters there's badger soup, followed by roast badger and finishing with badger mousse”

“Is there anything else apart from badger?" I asked.

“No", he replied.

"It's a sett menu."
