Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but once again was bright overcast rather than sunny. This morning first thing we had a light breeze, broken cloud for overcast and it was dry. I think it's been like that all night. It hasn't changed since. The glass is on 1017mb and tending to fall slowly.... The forecast is simple, clear and sunny all day. The constant SW wind will be moderate all day and like yesterday could gust to 30mp-h around midday. We can expects a high of 12C and a low of 1C tonight with a wind chill of -3C around midday when the gusts are strongest. Friday could be overcast and wet but apart from that we can expect sunny warmer weather until next Monday.

Yesterday was another bright day, it stayed clear and sunny until dusk and on into the night. First thing this morning we had a light breeze but it was clear and dry, it hasn't changed since then, The glass is down on 1013mb and the forecast is for another dry sunny day. The constant south wind is moderate and like yesterday gusts to 30mph at midday. We can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 8C with a wind chill at midday of -4C. The outlook is for an overcast rainy day tomorrow then two days similar to today. After that it cools slightly and becomes mainly overcast.

No Gloria they have stopped asking for them since I started charging.... :biggrin2:
Yesterday stayed fine until late afternoon when it clouded over and we had a shower. There is evidence of rain during the night and this morning is overcast, breezy and damp. The glass has fallen to 1005mb and the forecast is for early rain and an overcast day. However, the light winds are still southerly and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 8C tonight with only a small wind chill so it will be a very acceptable day. Saturday and Sunday will be bright and warmer, after that we revert to overcast and slightly lower temperatures but still very acceptable. We are having a very pleasant March so far.

It started raining around teatime yesterday, and is still drizzling a bit, it is however quite mild.

Yesterday was far better than the forecast predicted. The afternoon was bright overcast but dry. It was a mild dry night and this morning first thing it was overcast, calm and dry. It hasn't changed since. The glass is steady on 1007mb and the forecast is for a sunny day. The constant easterly wind is light to moderate tending at times to the south and we can expect a high of 16C and a low of 5C tonight. The slight wind chill will be -2C for most of the day. We can expect another warm day tomorrow and then we sink back into heavy overcast and cooler but we can't complain, we are having a nice taste of better weather to come.
I've just seen your post Cathy, far too warm for us!

Yesterday was possibly the best day we have had this year. It stayed clear during the night and this morning was still clear and mild. The glass is down a touch on 1005mb and tending to fall slowly. The constant easterly winds are light to moderate and we can expect a high of 16C again with a low of 4C tonight. The wind chill will peak briefly at -3C around midday. The outlook is for cooler cloudier weather but still mainly dry and very acceptable. Things could be much worse!

Yesterday was another good day. We had a clear night and my heating has come back on again, the first time for three days... This morning it's calm, clear and cool. The glass has fallen slightly to 1002mb and is tending to fall slowly. The forecast is for a dry day with lots of sun. The mainly ENE wind is light at the moment but becomes brisk, gusting to 40mph later and we can expect a high of 11C with a low of 1C tonight. The wind chill will be -4C this afternoon when the wind is strongest. The outlook for the next week is for mostly bright but cooler weather with the occasional light shower possible. Still very acceptable for March.

Yesterday was dry but there was a change in the weather, that NE wind made it feel colder than of late. At 19:00 when I went to bed it was clear and cold and we still had the remnants of that wind. It was clear during the night and this morning we have broken overcast and a breeze but it's dry. The glass is up on a shade over 1008mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for it to start the day with sunny spells but soon drop back into heavy overcast until mid afternoon when it will brighten up again. We can look forward to light to moderate winds out of the north all day giving us a high of 8C and a low of -1C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for much of the day. It will feel much colder all day so wrap up warm if you go out. The outlook is for similar weather to today with frosts for the next three nights.

Yesterday turned out brighter than the forecast suggested. It clouded over in the late afternoon but we went into darkness with a clear sky. First thing this morning we had a light breeze and overcast but cool and dry. It hasn't changed since. The glass has fallen to 1002mb and the forecast is for a bright day with sunny spells but the chance of light showers as well from midday onwards. The constant northerly winds start light but by midday are moderate and gusting to almost 35mph giving us a high of 7C and a low tonight of -2C. We can expect a wind chill of -4C as the wind speed rises. The outlook is for similar weather until Sunday and then overcast next week. It will be slightly warmer but not much.

It's bloody cold down here, and has been so for a few days. My tablet lady even mentioned the fact when she came yesterday. Hard to realise that by the end of the month we will be told it has been the hottest March since records began. That's what happened in February anyway.

Doesn't help when the Met Office tell us that Spring starts on March 1st. No it's not its still Winter until the 20th. They always seem to be surprised when it's still cold but rejoice if there is a days sunshine as if to prove their point. It winds me up as you can probably tell. :extrawink:

Meanwhile......... :biggrin2:
Yesterday was, again, better than the forecast. We only had one shower (that I saw) in mid afternoon and we have had a clear sky overnight which has resulted in a frost this morning. We have a mainly clear sky, even though there is scattered cloud. The glass is trying to rise and is on 1003mb. We have a yellow warning for ice for anyone that had rain during the night. Our forecast is for a dry day with bright overcast which could translate to sunny spells at time. The mainly northerly winds allow us a high of 7C and a low tonight of -1C with a -4C wind chill for much of the day. The outlook is for similar weather but perhaps not quite as cold for next week.

Yesterday afternoon stayed bright until late on when we had a brief isolated shower. We had an overcast night and first thing this morning it was calm and partially clear with just scattered cloud but since then it has reverted to 100% overcast but dry. The glass is up on 1005mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a dry day but a mix of sunny spells and heavy overcast at times. The northerly winds start light but by6 late morning are moderate and allow us a high of 8C and a low tonight of -3C with a wind chill of up to -3C. The outlook is for brighter and warmer weather, by Sunday we shall be into double figures! March is treating us quite well.....

Today has been 36C, I think they are lying, it has felt hotter. 😓
Tomorrow we have 38C. They predict Rain for Sunday, but they said that for last Sunday, it didn’t happen.
If we last until Monday, we get relief with 20C. 🤷‍♀️
.
A lot of our gardens and trees are gasping 😞. This is when some of our very old and tall Gum Trees decide they have had enough and just ‘drop’. Very dangerous.
