I went shopping yesterday for the peppers and tomatoes I need to roast my chicken and in the process found an offer of Southern Fried chicken at a reduced price because it had reached its sell-by date. It looked like cheap protein to me so I brought it home and it became my dinner. Normal meat and veggies for breakfast and tea. I am getting the last batch into a corner and will have to think about veggie shopping tomorrow..... :biggrin2:

I think my more rigorous attitude to anything made with flour and sugar is having an effect. I'm getting less of the side effects that I was having when I wasn't paying attention!

Youngest offspring cooked a lasagne last night. I went over to Harrogate with the ladder as one of the joints on his gutter had separated, seemed a fair exchange to me :good:

You look after them well Kev..... Let's hope they remember when you need help!
I had chicken and veggies for breakfast and tea. For dinner I had one of my light oatcake, cheese and tomato snacks....
Lots of celery and leek in the veggies so I felt very virtuous when I went to bed..... :good:
