It's quite nice out there.... I've been for a walk, picked my meds up at Well, called in at the surgery to remind them I am due for a blood test and rounded off by calling at the Co-op for a couple of shelf fillers. Nice to sit down!

Yesterday afternoon improved slowly as the day wore on but we still had that wind chill. We had good late sun as I was going to bed at 19:00. This morning is calm clear and we have a full moon at 08:44. (The heating has not come on....) The glass is almost on 1018mb and tending to rise.... The constant SE wind will be light to moderate giving us a high of 23C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill that could reach -3C but is -2C for much of the day. The UV and Pollen levels are both very high. The outlook is for two more days of these temperatures and then cooler but better than we have been having of late.
Later at 05:00. I spoke too soon, the CH has kicked in....

Yesterday stayed sunny and warm right up to sunset. This morning it is calm, clear and mild. The glass is down slightly on 1500mb and the forecast is for a sunny start until noon and then increasing cloud with the chance of a light shower later. The brisk wind will be mainly ESE gusting to 35mph and we can expect a high of 23C with a low of 13C tonight and a wind chill of up to -4C this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather all next week.
Later at 05:00 Red sky in the morning; shepherd's warning.

Yesterday the sun was never quite as strong as the forecast suggested and in the afternoon we had quite a lot of what I would describe as 'bright overcast'. This morning first thing we had a lively breeze, a clear sky and it was mild. Since then we have a light overcast. The glass is on 1011mb and rising. We start with a moderate south wind and by the end of the day it will be NNW gusting to 35mph. We can expect a high of 23C and a low tonight of 13C with a -3C chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar slightly disturbed weather.

Yesterday afternoon was again more bright overcast than sun. There was no late sunshine and the breeze and wind chill persisted. This morning it was calm and overcast but dry. There was evidence of a light shower during the night. The glass rose a but yesterday but this morning has fallen back to 1012mb. The forecast is for a bright overcast day with showers expected either side of midday and a yellow warning for thunderstorms until 18:00 this evening. The wind is a moderate Easterly but later this morning will become westerly and brisk gusting to 35mph. We can expect a high of 20C and a low of 12C tonight with a wind chill of up to -4C when the wind is strongest. The outlook for next week is bright overcast weather similar to today but drier.

Yesterday we got occasional spells of sunshine in the afternoon but showers as well and we ended up with solid overcast, no late sun. (No thunder either....) This morning we have a breeze and it's overcast but no rain (Even though the Met office says we have!). The glass is up a touch on 1014mb and the forecast is for a morning of sunny intervals and then back to overcast again. The constant westerly winds will be moderate gusting to 30mph at times giving us a high of 17C and a low of 11C tonight. There will be a -3C wind chill in the afternoon. The outlook is for a dry week with more sun and rising temperatures.

Yesterday was a re-run of the day before, lots of cloud and the occasional shower in the afternoon and an overcast end to the day with no late sun. This morning first thing we had a light breeze and it was overcast but dry. It hasn't changed since. The glass was up on 1023mb and the forecast is for a dry day with full sun in the afternoon. The constant WSW wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 20C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill of -3c when the wind is strongest in the early afternoon. The outlook is for dry, warmer and mainly sunny weather next week.

Yesterday lived up to the forecast and we had a sunny afternoon that actually felt warm..... I went for a late walk on the strength of it! This morning it is calm clear and mild. The glass has dropped slightly to 1021mb. The forecast is for sunny intervals this morning and heavy overcast with showers this afternoon. The constant WSW wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 17C and a low tonight of 11C with a wind chill of -2C for most of the day. The outlook is for an improvement, more sun and higher temperatures as we move towards the longest day next Saturday.

Yesterday we had a good afternoon, quite overcast at times but a good drying day. This morning it's calm clear mild and dry with a big moon. The glass is up on 1024mb and the forecast is for a day of unbroken sun. The very light easterly and southerly winds mean we can expect a high of 26C and a low tonight of 14C with negligible wind chill. Very high pollen. The next two days are going to be even warmer and beyond that we will still have warm sunny weather. It could be Barlick Summer!

Yesterday kept to the forecast and was a day of full sun. It was still sunny at 19:00 when I went to bed, This morning it's clear and mild. The glass has fallen slightly to 1022mb and the forecast is for a sunny and very hot day. The moderate wind starts as ENE but soon becomes Southerly and we can expect a high of 29C and a low tonight of 15C with a negligible wind chill. Tomorrow will be slightly less sunny but just as hot and after that we can expect the temperature to fall to more like the seasonal norm.

Yesterday we had slightly less direct sun, by afternoon we were mostly bright overcast but it was still very warm. It was a warm night but not uncomfortably so in my North facing bedroom with thick stone walls.... This morning it is clear and we have a light breeze. The glass has fallen to 1017mb and the forecast is for a sunny start to the day but then for sunny intervals with as chance of light showers and from mid afternoon onwards the chance of a thunderstorm right through the night. The light wind will be variable but is mainly ESE and we can expect a high of 27C and a low tonight of 14C with a negligible wind chill. Tomorrow we will see a change to less sunny, cooler weather with the chance of showers. The temperatures will be more like the seasonal norm for the rest of the week.

I had to look it up :biggrin2:
Yesterday afternoon in Barlick we had a few spatters of big drops of rain and distant rumbles of thunder but nothing more. Very heavy overcast though and no late sun. It's been a quiet night and this morning it's almost calm, overcast and dry. The glass is down on 1008mb. The forecast is for a heavily overcast start to the day until 09:00 and from then on sunny spells with frequent showers, perhaps thundery until late afternoon. The constant WSW wind will be brisk and gusts to over 40mph at times. We can expect a high of 19C, a low tonight of 10C and a wind chill of up to -4C during the day. The outlook is for a similar day tomorrow followed by three heavily overcast and wet days. Enjoy!
Yesterday was the longest day but Midsummer Day is next Tuesday the 24th of June. Don't ask me why, I haven't any idea..... :biggrin2:
