Yesterday had no surprises and was a repeat of the settled weather we have been having of late. After a quiet nigh we wake to another calm overcast but dry morning. The glass is on 1025mb and falling and the forecast is for another dry, overcast day. The very light winds will be variable and we can expect a high of 12C and a low of 8C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather but Sunday could be a wet day.

Quite a pleasant morning actually as long as you were dressed for it. Amazing how it improves a day when the wind is light. I had my short walk to the Co-op, got my peppers and bits and have just warmed my dinner up after cooking sausages for a treat. They can't touch you for it!

Yesterday was once more a repeat of the day before but today we have signs of an impending change. Not a lot of sun but dry overcast in the afternoon. A quiet dry night and this morning it's overcast, calm and dry. The glass has fallen further to 1023mb and the forecast is for a dry overcast day but there are small signs of a change in the air. The constant SE wind will be light all day and we can expect a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with a wind chill of -2C for most of the day. The change starts to come in late tonight, we can expect rain more and more over the weekend but without any rise in temperature, if anything it will be cooler. Gearing up for November happen.......

Yesterday afternoon ended as usual with overcast. It has been calm and dry overnight. The glass has fallen to 1008mb. The forecast is for it to start to rain as it comes light and we will have heavy rain all day until this evening. The mainly SE winds will be moderate, gusting to almost 35mph and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 7C with a wind chill of -3C for most of the day. The outlook is drier but also colder. I think summer is over!

Yesterday we had 29C and slept overnight in 20C. Today we have 28C and luckily the humidity isn’t high enough to cause a problem.
It’s +11C above the average daily high. Looks like a good week coming.
Might be close to switching over the bed sheets to summer cotton. Enjoy your week everyone. 😊 ☀️

Yesterday the rain was three hours behind the forecast but apart from that it was accurate. We had a dull, cold rainy day. The glass fell back to 987mb and the forecast for today is not a lot better. The easterly winds are light and vary between north and south. Expect a high of 13C and a low of 9C tonight with a constant light wind chill of -1C. Tomorrow and Thursday look like two more wet days and overall the week gets colder. Deep Joy!

Yesterday we saw the weather change and after an odd clear spell last night we are back to a calm morning, overcast and light rain. The glass has fallen even further to 983mb and the forecast is for an overcast rainy day but perversely with the promise of some sunny spells early this morning! The westerly winds will be moderate gusting to almost 35mph. We can expect a high of 13C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill of up to -3C. The outlook is for similar weather but cooler....

Yesterday SW London has sunny spells , but before one could make use of them the rain in various depths of deluge occurred. Evening ,as is oft the case , there was enough weak sun to generate a rather substantial and wide 4pm rainbow ending in Battersea and Croydon , neither place renown for pot of gold

We had an almighty thunderstorm at just past midnight. Heavy rain and very noisy thunder, it just kept on rumbling and clapping, coming and going for ages. I don’t think anyone could have slept thru it. More wind and rain today.

Yesterday kept to the forecast and we saw plenty of overcast and light rain all day. This morning it is still overcast but dry and calm. The glass is up a touch on 988mb and the forecast is for a day of bright overcast with some sunny intervals and a chance of light rain after noon and into the afternoon. The constant light SW wind will give us a high of 12C and a low of 6C tonight with a wind chill of -2C at times. The outlook is for similar mixed weather but cooler.

Yesterday the promised rain after midday never arrived, instead we had some really gloomy overcast and lost the earlier pleasant sunshine.
This morning we have overcast and very light rain, there is s very light breeze. The glass has fallen again and is now on a new low of 982mb and falling. The forecast is for the rain to cease around dawn and for a bright overcast day with very occasional sunny spells. The constant NW wind becomes brisk later and gusts to over 35mph this afternoon. In consequence we can expect a 'high' of 10C, a low of 5C tonight and a wind chill of -4C this afternoon. The outlook is for similar but even colder weather all next week.

Yesterday the forecast was accurate. Half way through the morning the sun prevailed and we had a dry sunny day. The wind wasn't excessive. On the whole a bit of a let-off it could have been far worse. After a quiet night we have an overcast morning with very light rain on the breeze. The glass has risen and is on 990mb. The forecast is for rain until midday under broken overcast which will mean sunny intervals for most of the time. The moderate west winds will be constant gusting to almost 30mph and we can expect a high of 10C and a low of 4C tonight with a wind chill of -4C briefly this morning and -3C for the rest of the day. The outlook is for similar weather, certainly no warmer.

Yesterday ended up cold but bright with late sun. After a quiet night this morning is breezy and overcast but dry.. The glass is still rising on 995mb and the forecast is for a bright day with plenty of spells of sunshine. The constant brisk NW wind will gust to almost 40mph and we can expect a high of 8C and a low of 2C tonight with a -4C chill for most of the day. The outlook is for similar weather with perhaps slightly more chance of showers.

Yesterday turned out to be a very sunny day. Ignore my comments about it being cold, I think I am much more sensitive than I used to be! We had clear spells during the night and this morning it's still clear, we have a breeze and it actually is cold! We have it below freezing for a few hours. The glass has risen to 1004mb and the forecast is for a sunny start to turn into rain by mid morning. The westerly winds are moderate and gust up to 40mph this afternoon. We can expect a high of 10C, a low of 6C tonight and a wind chill of as much as -5C this morning when the wind tends towards the north. The outlook is for similar weather....

Yesterday the weather deteriorated and the afternoon was overcast wet and very windy. It was windy all night and this morning the glass is down on 994mb. It's wet and windy and the forecast is for this to continue until it's daylight and then we can expect sunny spells and dry for the rest of the day but we will keep the wind. The brisk westerly winds will tend to the north and gust to over 45mph. The high will be 10C and 7C will be tonight's low. There will be a wind chill of at least -3C all day. The outlook is for similar weather all week.

Yesterday stayed dry apart from the odd very light spatter of rain and later in the afternoon we had sun. We have had wind and rain during the night and this morning we have a breeze and very light rain. The glass is on 997mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for light showers at each end of the day and sunny spells in between. The constant westerly winds will be strong and gust to almost 50mph. We can expect a high of 11C and a low of 6C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for much of the day. The outlook is for similar broken and windy weather.

Yesterday an overcast afternoon ended with a spatter of very large drops of rain at 16:30. There were more showers during the night and this morning we stll have wind and rain. The glass is down to a shade under 995mb and the forecast is like yesterday, a dry overcast day with sunny spells but with rain at each end of the day. The SW wind will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 10C and a low of 4C tonight. There will be a -4C wind chill for most of the day. The outlook is for similar weather for the next week.

Yesterday afternoon ended again with light rain. We have had a mainly clear night and this morning it is calm clear and cold. The glass has risen slightly to 997mb and the forecast is for sunny spells this morning, an overcast afternoon and possible light rain after 14:00. The southerly winds will be light to moderate gusting to almost 30mph later this afternoon. We can expect a high of 10C and a low of 10C tonight with up to -4C wind chill as the wind rises this afternoon. The outlook is still for similar weather. No surprises as we enter November....
