Yesterday the rain came in after noon as forecast . By midnight it had stopped and we had w clear sky and a noticeable breeze. This morning we have a cold clear morning with a significant southerly wind. The glass is up on 999mb and the forecast is for a heavily overcast but dry day. The constant SW wind will be brisk gusting to 35mph and we can expect a high of 8C and a low of 2C with a wind chill that is currently -5C and will stay close to that value all day. The outlook to beyond Xmas Day is for very similar weather.....

Yesterday stayed dry but that wind was biting all day. We had broken overcast during the night and the wind persisted. This morning we still have that wind and the broken overcast. It's cold but dry. The glass has risen to 1009mb and the forecast is for a dry cold day with sunny spells if we are lucky! The blustery southern winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 8uC and a low of 5C tonight with a -3C chill all day. It's another biting wind but not quite as bitter as yesterday. The outlook beyond Xmas Day is for very similar weather but heavier overcast. No surprises in the forecast.

Yesterday stayed dry bit not as sunny as the forecast, By nightfall we had a quiet overcast and that's how it has been all night up to now. At the moment we have a significant breeze and it's overcast but dry. The glass is steady on 1005mb and the forecast is for a spell of light rain before dawn but after that a dry overcast day. The constant East wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 9C and a low tonight of 7C. The wind chill will touch -4C at times but for most of the day is a constant -3C. The outlook for Xmas week is for similar if slightly colder weather. No surprises in the forecast. December is treating us well, it could be much worse!

Yesterday afternoon went from gloomy to wet and gloomy around 15:00..... We have had a wet cold night and this morning we have a breeze and light rain from 100% overcast. The glass is on 1005mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for heavy overcast until midday and then we might see a glimpse of the sun.... The constant East wind will be moderate allowing us a high of 9C and a low of 5C tonight. The wind chill is -3C at the moment but will fall back to -2C after midday. The outlook is for another gloomy day tomorrow and them brighter but colder weather for the rest of the week. It should be dry....

It’s dry at the moment and quite breezy, not stuck my head out so can’t say how cold it is.

7 degrees here in Foulridge. Just been to Aldi, in Colne, it wasn't that busy which was good :good: I've got cold fingers now though. I'll have to go out again later once Amazon let me know my air fryer is at Morrisons Local.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and we had occasional sunny spells. We've had a quiet night, dry and overcast with enough wind to make it feel cold. This morning its dry and overcast and that wind persists making it feel cold. The glass is steady on 1012mb and the forecast is dead simple heavy overcast and a constant wind to give us a chill and remind us that this is winter! Today we will have a constant moderate East wind gusting to almost 30mph that will allow us a temperature of 6C for a high today and 3C for a low tonight. The wind chill is -4C at times and a constant -3C the rest of the time. Best to wrap up! From tomorrow until the end of the week it will be brighter and perhaps a touch colder.
