Pollen count is high today in the north west. It's trees at the moment, birch is high and ash is moderate.

Breezy and sunny here Gloria but very pleasant.
I have just done the rest of the veggie shopping and am sat down now having a breather before dinner. I shall do the actual cooking tomorrow....

Yesterday the forecast proved accurate and most of the afternoon was overcast and raining. It dried up as night fell but then rain returned before midnight. At the moment it's wet and windy.... The glass is down on 1010mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for rain until 03:00 then a day of heavy overcast and the return of rain this afternoon. The constant southerly winds will be brisk all day gusting to 35mph this afternoon. We can expect a high of 16C, a low of 8C tonight and a wind chill of -4C this afternoon in the stronger winds. The outlook is for mild unsettled weather... Friday could be wet but otherwise dry.
Later at 03:15. It's stopped raining but we still have the wind and the overcast.....

We had quite heavy squally showers yesterday afternoon. This morning is lightly overcast, slight breeze and the temperature is getting warmer.

Yesterday afternoon the rain returned and we went into nightfall with sporadic showers. It has been wet during the night and is raining at the moment. The glass is down a touch and steady on 1007mb. The forecast is for the rain to cease by 03:00 and for a dry day of broken cloud and sunny intervals. The south westerly winds will be moderate all day gusting to 35mph at the moment but gradually easing during the day. We can expect a high of 14C and a low of 9C tonight with a wind chill that is -4C at the moment but will soon drop back to -3C for the rest of the day. The outlook is for a wet day tomorrow but then brighter and dry for the rest of the week.

We had very heavy rain just before 6pm yesterday, which included thunder and lightning, which came almost at the same time. We’ve never had a thunderstorm in all of the three years we’ve lived here. It lasted only a short while and disappeared as quickly as it came.
This morning is lightly overcast, no breeze and the temperature has increased, so an acceptable day in the offing.

Yesterday afternoon the wind dropped and it stayed dry under bright overcast. We had a dry, quiet night but it has now started raining. The glass is steady on 1014mb and the forecast is for heavy overcast and showers until this afternoon when it could brighten and become dry and sunny. The southerly winds will be moderate and gradually increase until this afternoon the are gusting to well over 30mph. We can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 7C with a wind chill of -3C for most of the day. The outlook is for drier brighter weather for the rest of the week.
