TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Overcast with a light breeze, temperature hasn’t changed much here, if any.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon ended up being dry but overcast, only a brief glimpse of late sun. We had a calm overcast but dry night and at the moment it is still overcast and dry but with a light breeze. The glass is up on 1019mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for rain to come in shortly and lasting until noon and then overcast but dry for the rest of the day. The SW wind will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 18C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill around -2C all day. The outlook is for warmer, drier and sunnier weather starting tomorrow and extending towards June!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Pretty much the same here, overcast, slight breeze and hardly a change in the temperature.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
I blame opening of borders with Europe.
A hot continental high circulating toward the midlands has raised very quickly London Temps to close to / over 30deg C making once again Tube Life unpleasent. New flats build to ( rather not effectively ) keep heat in manage too to let too much external heat in , and while hot air might rise that means at floor 10+ the heat from the street gets the afternoon sun on the walls into a combination where no one thought to install solar heat pumps on the roof. such is what short term , "cheap" building gets us.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday was the warmest day of the year.... The afternoon was bright overcast and a light spatter of rain but very pleasant, there was a little bit of late sun under the cloud. We have had a very calm quiet night, overcast but dry. That's the picture at the moment, overcast but dry calm and mild. The glass is steady on 1020mb. The forecast is for the sun to break through early this morning and for us to have a sunny warm day. The WSW winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 18C and a low of 6C tonight with a slight wind chill all day. The outlook is for sunny hot weather.... This is a very early heat wave!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Much the same here Stanley, without the splatter of rain. It was very pleasant.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon was overcast but very mild and pleasant. We have had a quiet night and at the moment it's clear, calm and mild. The glass is up on 1027mb and rising. The forecast is for a day of clear skies and unbroken sun. The SW wind is very light and we can expect a high of 22C and a low tonight of 8C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for much sun and hot weather. Tomorrow is forecast to be an unbelievable 29C.

.
.
It seems a while since we had rain. Today we have gentle , frequent rain. More to come during the week.
Haven’t had the heater on yet, but I feel that it won’t be long.
.
Enjoy your current temperatures and your Bank Holiday . Get out there and soak it all up.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Last two days , covering Church summer fair that really was too hot to have outside , this church doesnt have that much shade, the one later in the year in a Glebe field in the next parish should have some surrounding high trees to take heat out of the air. otherwise in London it has been really tricky to work as not only sunny ,but the air feels dry
