Spicy burgers and veggies X three. I cooked my pork belly and that will be joining the mix today......

Pork and veggies X three.... This was the first pork belly cooking using the more expensive Mutti chopped tomatoes. Definitely worth the money, much better flavour.

Three hot meals.... No second breakfast, it's getting to be a dangerous habit!

I am getting the last batch into a corner and thinking seriously about roasting my chicken and veggie shopping.
Three helpings of meat and veggies yesterday....

The last of the veggies.... One helping left for breakfast this morning and then I cook veggies.

The last of the old veggies and meat for breakfast and then hot smoked Mackerel, chips and mushy peas for dinner and tea.
Meanwhile I cooked the new batch of veggies.....

I am well into the latest batch of veggies and have my meat ordered for delivery later today.
I was looking at costs yesterday and the economic advantage of cooking your own food from raw unprocessed staples has never been greater... I simply don't understand how young families get by these days.
I shall be cooking savoury cabbage and onions as an extender this morning....

Chicken and veggies X three and I cooked my swedes....... I varied the treatment this week, instead of onions I added small plum tomatoes to the swede....

Not tea, supper. We went to Hickey's bar last night, middle offspring and Nina Salorian had a gig there. A very enjoyable evening with a very responsive and friendly audience. Back to supper, we went to The Mediterranean on Church Street for chips and ate them on the bus journey home. Simple pleasures


Four Elephants for a curry today, back to cooking tomorrow.
