Have a roasting pan filled with chopped tomatoes, capsicum, onion, kalamatta olives and Italian herbs...covered in foil and cooking down to make a pasta sauce.
Smells beaut.

Haven't given dinner a lot of thought. Son dining out with friends, so just the two of us to consider.
Eggs on toast, or maybe grilled cheese on toast takes my fancy.

Kath gave me an out of date loaf so today was El Cheapo dining! Two small butties at diner time filled with the usual suspects and pressed beef. Same at teatime but with haslet. Looking forward to Tuesday......

Last of the haslet with trimmings on a butty for dinner. I got some cabbage and spuds and made a pan full of colcannon, long time since I had any and good stuff for toothless old farts! Had it with a meat pie and a few baked beans for dinner..... Plenty left for today.

Home made bacon and sausage Quiche, whilst congratulating my Mrs on the Quality, I questioned the quantity the look on her face was a delight. It seems the cheese was still in the fridge, and had not been added.

Poached Tasmanian Salmon, boiled spuds, cauliflower, baby peas, carrots and sprouts.
Hubby and son then raided the "treasure chest". ( container full of all sorts of chocolate bars. I do not partake of such indulgences as I am not tempted by chocolate and look down on them for being such weak creatures....)

It's a sign of immaturity Maz. Strong characters like you and me can resist these things. (Should David be eating chocolate?)
Beef butties with trimmings X 2 yesterday. Butcher's day today and a loaf in the machine, tasty treats on the horizon....
I've made a resolution not to buy any more joints. They take too long to get through and I enjoy variety much more so I shall give the last one away....
