Or never registered it in Oz? They are still in business.
What a nice day it was when everyone else was having lousy weather.

Ironicallly...
`What is the TREx service?
The Trademark Registry Exchange ('TREx') is a new service developed by the Trademark Clearinghouse, which provides trademark holders with an additional protection layer for unregistered domain names, matching their labels, across a multitude of TLDs, by restricting the registration of these domain names in the general availability phase.' Our resident fact checker David. As informative as 'More or Less?'.
A couple ragged off and sunbathing in their back yard in East Hill Street yesterday.

Just got the fright of my life for about 2 seconds...knock at the door and a policeman stood there. That is when I got the fright, then I realised he was on his own and I quickly consoled myself there would be two of them if it was bad news they were giving.
(Well..I have always imagined it would be two for bad news anyway)
He was just asking if we heard any noise last night - a house break in a few doors down in the early hours, their route of exit being behind our house and that of immediate neighbours.
Didn’t hear a thing, sorry. In bed at 8.30pm and asleep within minutes! They couldn’t have made much noise, because I am a very light sleeper.
I can tell you the policeman smelled very nice. He was wearing aftershave...( I do have a very sensitive nose) :biggrin2:

I would fail on that test Maz. Gave up after shave many years ago!
I noted yesterday that the contractors have started replacing the flags in front of the shops with the same Rossendales they are using in the square. Progress on the square itself seems to have come to a halt.

Well...he also had “smoker’s breath”, Stanley, so maybe he carries aftershave in the patrol car to cover up!
( I tell you, my nose detects many things! I could always smell when my son was sick. I can smell when my husband is sick, and everyone tells me I can smell a bushfire 50 kilometres away. Perhaps that is why I find Garlic so offensive. We go for a walk and I can smell all the flowering plants before we come across them. Hubby is always astounded when I say “there is a Wattle Bush somewhere near” and some 50 metres down the track there it is. By the time we get to it, the smell is so overwhelming, I have to put tissues over my nose. He can barely smell it.)
I am a human bloodhound.
I can tell you that the policeman’s aftershave/cologne was cheap and fairly recently applied. ( Aftershave always smells nicer to me about 12 hours after it is slapped on!)

They say that Werewolves have a very sensitive sense of smell nearly that of a bloodhound. I'm not for one minute insinuating that you are one of these mythical beasts. But then there is garlic which drops into the Vampire class. What is one to think? :biggrin2:

My Heritage genealogy site, i put my tree on there and have loaded some photos on to my tree, but i keep getting "an error occurred please try later" message, doing a check on the photos loaded and the ones where the error appears it would see that %0 KB (?) is accepted, but anything over that causes an error message. Is there a way of changing KB size on the photos being refused ?

I have used this faststone photo resizer

There are lots of others, but it would do the job. Others know a lot more than me about photos, and 50kB seems a bit skinny, but worth a try I'd say. It's free

You could try Irfanview it's an image manipulation program. It has a batch (or individual file) resizing option. I use it for resizing large photo files before uploading them to One Guy. You can batch process multiple files at once and set common output parameters for them all. Free download and licence for non commercial use.

Back in the Middle Ages when I used Windows computers I always used Irfanview for simple handling of images. As Panbiker says, very good for handling batches of photos together.

Nice...... everyone got something out of the day. :biggrin2:
I see the last two BA 747s retire today. I remember seeing their first one at Prestwick doing landings and take0ffs fully loaded to train pilots. I can still see the tyres squidging over on the rims of the wheels as it turned to line up with the runway. That would be in 1969 I think. It doesn't feel like fifty years!

Like a lot of folk I amuse myself on Rightmove, and make ridiculous plans and dreams which mainly quickly come to nothing. It's harmless and they can't touch you for it. These two caught my attention today, and deserve a wider audience.

The similarity in asking price compared with the chasm in what is offered is outstanding.

Very telling contrast David.
What grabbed me this morning is that it's Margaret's birthday and she is 59. How the hell did that happen?

A video of my great grandson Kahara. He is walking almost and is a big lad for 9 months old. Not much wrong with his development. He is a very happy lad!

Delivery this morning of three Bancroft woven Barlick tea towels. The trust put a post up on Facebook to say that they were producing these as a means of income for the trust which like many others is struggling with not being open to visitors. They were inundated with orders and are now running on full tilt to meet the demand. One of the Barlick scrubbers team has taken on the hemming for the product.

The tea towels are £9.00 each plus postage and packing and can be ordered via the Bancroft website:

Bancroft Mill

Their Facebook site here has more information:

Good link Ian. Like many others, venues like Bancroft are in danger and yet they allow pubs and restaurants to stay open.
