Derby has been a bit of a Cajun hotspot for quite a while ......
The Swamp Club was legendary ....
R. Cajun are a local band , and The Roosters are an off-shoot.(some good stuff on YouTube , especially with Yvette Landry)
My Old Harp players (Beeds)and Arhtur Billington (ZZ Birmingham) were founder members of R. Cajun. , and they even played twice for Paul MacCartney's private parties and Mary Mac's Wedding.
Beeds is particularly proud to have shared a microphone with Sir P..(he just got up to join in !)
Chris Hall subsequently appeared on P.M.'s version of Brown Eyed Handsome Man (but not sure if it was released , after the TV pre-view )
Summer's looking like it is taking shape as far as Gigs are concerned , but Alan and I are fairly laid back about it ....just going to take what comes , and try to do some recording in the meantime ......

Now i would watch Britains got Talent if something like these lads were on it, they sure earned their corn !
