To be honest Gloria I'm not sure, I think so but I do know that in the area where it is there is I think a 'virtual Canal'.

You push something through it, and it can’t be pulled back out as the two “lip” pieces would come together. You can tell I’ve no idea and I’m clutching at straws.

You don't need anything like that on a toothpaste tube - just roll it up and attach a bulldog clip!

Is it for closing those poly bags that have a zip type of fastener?

Or for making wide bands of pasta?

I've never seen one before but I knew they existed so it was an educated guess. My other thought was for sealing plastic bags but it didn't look like it would be easy with this gadget.
