Hay field actually but yes China. That wasn't a very good one was it..... I shall try harder.

I saw lots of them when I was in the 'badlands' of Arizona and New Mexico. The dust (or stubble) allows you to follow the thermals. They are nice to watch and if you let one pass over you it is only a gentle breeze.

I've seen them in this country China in the hayfield, especially when the weather was a bit catchy.
