1939/40 British Expeditionary Force Mainland Europe?

My dad was BEF North and sent to Iceland which was strategic for the North Atlantic routes.

I think it looks tatty for a memorial stone. I've just realised that 'the black hole' is your doing! I thought it was a letter box or pill box.
