Tom Owen son of Bill Owen has died.

I have just finished watching an episode about an hour ago, in which he was introduced to the long running series, after the death of his father. I didn't think this was such a good idea, and stopped watching it for a while. He eventually fitted in.

I discovered Fleetwood Mac on my first trip to California and have been a fan ever since. Break the Chain has never been beaten as a theme for Formula 1 racing.......

My sense of inadequacy has risen a notch. I've vaguely heard of Fleetwood Mac, but couldn't name any track from them at all.
I've never heard of Christine McVie at all. Having read this I'm somewhere between pleased and not bothered.

The boys used to get provided with cocaine in Heineken bottle tops onstage, but Stevie and I only did the tiny little spoons. I suppose sometimes we got a bit out-there, but we were quite restrained, really. I always took fairly good care of myself. My drug of choice was cocaine and champagne. I didn’t use any other drugs at all. It’s easy for me to say, but I think it made me perform better. Maybe somebody could tell me different [laughs].

I was in the same one, because I didn't know any of the details about the group. I was just knocked out with the album 'Rumours' and that was enough for me.

I don't think so - quite the opposite I'd say - though I'm not sure if you're referring to my choice of music of my revulsion to drugs.

Quite timely - borderline spooky - I got a message from Spotify yesterday about my use of their channel and they tell me I have listened to 166 different artists in the last year. Is that sheltered? Last year my most played track was Oldham Tinkers - for the lovely Oldham accent as much as anything.

I'm quite content in my shelter - and that Gloria isn't bad company either. :laugh5:

Me too Ian, a fan in the days of Peter Green but not so much in the super group era. I do enjoy listening to Rumours now and again though!

In fairness - I've just listened to a full track called Songbird. Very bland and forgettable is the kindest comment I can muster. Put me in mind of Eva Cassidy. Horses for courses though as they say. Not my cup of tea.
