See THIS update on the missing prisoners.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he is "angry and frustrated" over the mistaken release of prisoners, adding "it's our job to fix this". Justice Secretary David Lammy says he is "as shocked as anyone" by the releases as he lays out plans for a new response unit to tackle "some human error". Earlier, Lammy said he wasn't "equipped with all the detail" when he was asked about mistaken prisoner releases during PMQs on Wednesday, adding that he didn't want to "mislead the House and general public". One of two men freed in error from Wandsworth prison, 35-year-old William "Billy" Smith, has handed himself in, Surrey Police say. Police are still searching for Algerian sex offender Brahim Kaddour-Cherif, 24, who was mistakenly released on 29 October. The governor of HMP Wandsworth wasn't at the prison when Kaddour-Cherif was freed because he was investigating another early release at a separate jail. Sources say the governor, Andy Davy, is carrying out the inquiry into how Hadush Kebatu was released from Chelmsford jail last month
I wish more time was being spent on agreeing that all Parties are responsible for taking their eyes off the ball and neglecting prisons over many years instead of banging on about how others are to blame.

Two links that I meant to post over last weekend but couldn't get into OG at the time and had other diversions....
On the wall near my PC I have an old print of an artist's impression of one of those massive steam rail locos of the 1930s/40s in the US. I've never tried to identify it but decided to have a go. It's the one shown in the first link below, an impressive beast of an engine, and that led me to another one shown in the second link. In the vast expanses of America they could justify these monsters!

It's due to the site temporarily not having an SSL certificate. We, that's the royal we, (Kev actually is working on it). I cant get onto the control panel for the server where it is renewed from, Kev still has some access.

You can temporarily set an exception in your browser to accept the site without accreditation if you wish.
