Ah well - not a big response - so as that Irish auctioneer at Tattersalls says 'It's had its time'

Here it is - an Appalachian Dulcimer !

Here's what it does - looks easy. . . :laugh5: I'll fly away

" Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, Washington, D.C. | Library of Congress."

My Mountain Dulcimer has arrived and I've a lot of packaging to get rid of. Just a touch of buyer's remorse setting in. There's little chance of an appearance at Nashville.

That was catered for though, and it may yet go to my grand daughters who already have a piano and are a bit musical. Nothing lost.

Message to self - put aside these negative thoughts. Get on with it! :laugh5:

Well remembered. It's a hay knife and the last time I used one it was for cutting silage but originally they were used for cutting hay out of a mowstead in slabs....

Sorry Tom, no. I can see why you thought this. An even smaller animal and a different purpose. Clue, in no way therapeutical purpose.

Wendy has it. It's a ferret muzzle. I used to use one and Winnie never minded it despite people saying they are cruel.

This one is a mystery to me too. It came from a house clearance, I have no idea where or when but presumably it was local. The image has been professionally framed so it had meaning to someone, thought I'd put it on here in case anyone recognises the location. I don't think it's in the UK and I have no idea what they're doing :biggrin2:
