a conical tinplate oil holder that hung on the loom frame with a feather in it for transferring the oil.

Now for the next one......
Funny thing is I went for a furtle through my weaving pics and can't find a pic of a feather oiler on a loom. They were thin on the ground evidently at Bancroft. Most weavers had a Marvel dried milk tin with a hole punched through the lid for the feather....
