The last one I remember it on was a can of corned beef. Canned sardines too if I remember rightly.

The very early Spam tins had keys Wendy. Look up vintage spam tins and look at the images, that's what I did....

A further exhibit - and a handy hint - always protect you hand by covering the lid with a tea cloth, when removing the remainder of the can after using the key. They sometimes spring into life. Trust me. . . .

Re the can key, I remember them on cans of sardines and corned beef. Iām surprised that some manufacturers still use them, I felt like I was going back in time when I saw the pic.

I've decided this is ridiculous and annoying to all concerned. It's called a soul patch or Jazz Dab and don't ask me why!
