I've been trying to think of the name of a piece of equipment which was used at Lothersdale Mill and it has finally popped into my head this morning. :smile: Not sure if this is a similar thing but is it an economiser?

That was well remembered Wendy. It's an economiser made by Greens of Wakefield and is a nest of tubes installed in the flow of hot flue gases from the boiler to the chimney through which feed water for the boiler was passed, raising its temperature and making the boiler more efficient.
