Warm and sunny so outdoors cleaning the garage and fixing the car. Low wind too which helps.

Moh, it tells me I am up late and asks whether I shouldn't be in bed! Lovely day here too. Glass has risen to 30.2" and perhaps a bit fresher but no wind to speak of and it looks like another good day. March coming in like a lamb!

The year is definitely turning. We reached the point this week where the sun is high enough at midday to shine over the roofs of the houses opposite and fill the kitchen with light. (Must clean the windows!)
Glass has fallen to 29.8", drop of rain or some wind coming in?

Yesterday was a gloomy wet morning but the sun came out for about three hours after Noon. It's raining now. Glass steady on 29.8" and rain or perhaps even sleet forecast for the day. It's a bit colder, so stove lit as usual. If March runs true to form we shall have some wind soon...

Having spent most of the week opening windows to let fresh air in and folding away the gloves and scarves, now digging out the gloves and closing the windows.
Understand nice little raincloud over all of Norfolk predicted.

A little bit of snow over in Nelson this morning though it did not settle. But there was a covering of snow on the higher parts of Pendle hill. Clear and cold tonight.

After walk round the town. Fine mizzle, dull, very little wind. Glass risen slightly to 30.2". Not exciting weather but things could be a lot worse!

London miserable , cold , clammy and grey , more like an October day than moving into spring, even the birds singing half-heartedly today.

Damp and cold out there. Brisk breeze. Glass risen slightly to 30.3". Could be a lot worse!

London generally bright , sunny v warm under glass , and warm enough to leave off the woolly jumper. Good car boot day , no rain and sun not so hot as to melt the plastic items and dazzle from the reflective bits. Bought a couple of non working modern clocks for parts for 50p. Birds singing ( though sound annoyed as 4 tall trees recently pollarded so not enough branches to share out ).

Better morning out there. Reasonably dry and broken cloud. No sign of aurora though! Temperature in Shed yesterday was 50F so things are warming up slowly. Not cold, light breeze from the West and glass risen to 30.5". Could be a decent early spring day. We are doing well, no complaints about the weather.

Just looked outside and it's light enough to go for a walk. Lovely the way the days are lengthening....
Later, at 7am I am back in the house after walking round the town. Lovely early start to the day!

Its a cool and misty start in Brittany but sun forecast this afternoon. Temperatures have been a pleasant 13 plus degrees the last couple of days. Much much warmer in the direct sun. With very little wind it was ideal garden fire day yesterday. We had two at the same time.

Yesterday was a good day and the forecast till Thursday is brilliant, big continental HP system sitting on us and diverting Jet Stream North. Funny how often they mention the JS now on the forecast. I have been banging on about it for years! Glass steady on 30.5", fry, hardly any breeze. Could be a good day if we are on the East side of the divide which seems to run down the centre of the country. We usually favour east side weather here on the Pennines.

We did not have any snow last week in Scotland, but the winds were particularly cold not much rain either. Lovely day up there yesterday for our journey back, but as usual ran into cloud when we got near Preston.

Beautiful day today and more of the same forecast tomorrow. It was 30C on the back of the house and also very pleasantly warm whilst we were doing the veggie seeds. Already our first week over. The rest is doing me good
