Yes indeed, the statue of Mary Anning on the front at Lyme Regis, publicly unveiled by Evie Swire and Alice Roberts on 21 May 2022, the 223rd anniversary of Anning's birth. Mrs Tiz was visiting there with her geology group recently and she took the usual front view but also, for a change, a view from the rear. There was more in the photo but I cropped it to avoid giving too much away (but nothing gets past Kev!). She stands on a slab full of fossils.

She was well-known locally even as a child and before ever collecting fossils. Aged 15 months she was with a group of women who were struck by lightning and all thought to be dead but people gave her a warm bath and she recovered. May Anning
