Glad the weather is OK for you Sue, the rest and recreation of your own choice is probably just what you need. You have not had the best of times over the last couple of months so it can only be doing you good, enjoy.

Cloudy all day over here in Nelson. Sue you have been very lucky to have nice warm sunshine. Very nice over in Rochdale when the sun's shining. I was over there last Wednesday at Touchstones museum.

Sue, you deserve the good weather and the rest....
Overcast here most of the day yesterday but still a good day. Glass is solid at 30.5" and the expectation is that the cloud will break up today. One thing is certain, things could be a lot worse!

Same here Moh and today looks like a rerun. Glass fallen a tad to 30.4" but basically no change. Best hope is that we get a bot of sun later. I don't thing temperature got higher than 10C but no wind so quite pleasant for walking. At last my knee has started to improve so that's a blessing and I can start to raise my mileage again!

Hazy sunshrine during the afternoon here in Nelson. Very pleasant. Cloudier again this evening, however.

It was colder here as well Moh, wind had got up and swung into the NW. Glass is falling slowly, 29.9" this morning. Looks as though you are right, a change in the weather is coming.

Finally, all the bulbs I planted are showing an attempt at flowering. Even the pansies and primulas bought as plug plants are showing willing.

It looks like I could have a very short burst of lots of colour, as they all seem to be coming at once

The showers ceased mid-morning and the sun came out. Dry flags this morning and the glass has risen a touch to 29.7". Ever the optimist I have some bedding in the washer!
Just noticed it is almost light enough for a walk at 05:50. Lovely!

Eileen, six hours good sleep a night and often two hours in the afternoon. I've been an early riser all my working life and it seems to suit me.
Moh, same here but a lot of heat in that sun! Dried bedding outside.
Glass has risen to over 30.2", dry and cold outside after a clear night and I suspect a touch of frost. Good weather! I notice that the daffodils have suffered. They sprouted early, got bitten by the bad frosts we had and are looking a bit weary. However, they have survived and some have managed to flower. I hope the bulbs feed well and get a better chance next year.

Ah, my hours have slipped (deliberately) and more normal hours are maintained in the world of Julie. Up at 06.00 is good enough for me these days. Clear sky down here now the weekend is over and done with.
