Thanks for coming Ian, sorry I missed you. I had to leave early today, but will be back tomorrow.

Looks as though Finlay got up some speed on the stop valve from the motion blur on that last shot! I hope he enjoyed the experience.

A lot to take in for a little lad Tony but hopefully some of it will have sunk in. They were amazed at how noisy a single loom is I told them to imagine what 1200 of them would sound like in the shed. They are playing with junior Meccano as I speak so there is hope.

Good for them! If they really want a challenge, have a look at this jacquard loom made from Technic Lego!

I played with my weavers as well, they were lovely women! This one is Gwen..... But I hasten to add, never beyond the bounds of gentlemanly behaviour!
This article has generated more interest than any other I have done. Nice!

This years heritage weekend will be remembered for the first steaming of the Bradley engine. Looking back in my old pictures of this engine you can get some idea of the effort that has been put in from Sep 2104 to its final condition.
