quite a few black clouds have appeared but the wind will hopefully blow them away. Feels a tad cooler though.

Jules, nowt wrong with that! I was on earlies for that long my body clock was permanently reset. Up late at 04:30 this morning!
Glass still rising, over 30.3" this morning. Dry outside but not as cold as the wind seems to have swung into the West. Looks good so far.

Glass at 30.4" and tending to rise still. Dry and clement outside. Looks like another quiet day, the weather is being very kind to us.

Clear sky, chilly but no frost. Light enough for a walk at 05:30. Glass steady on 30.4" and a good forecast for the next few days. Wonderful weather. Crombie brushed down and put back in the wardrobe!

Had to scrape the ice off the windscreen at 6 this morning. Was nice to drive to the office in dasylight though. That'll all change at the weekend...

A beautiful spring day (I wish it had been like this 54 years ago it, it was dull and freezingly cold). It is blowing my bedding on the line in the garden, I love to get in bed when the clean sheets have been dried outside.

Moh, they smell like the seaside don't they!
Another good morning though not quite as clear. Glass has fallen back a touch to 30.3" but still a good prospect. Lovely spring day yesterday though still chilly. But plenty of heat in the sun when you were in it.

Sun has burned off the early mist so another good day in prospect. I believe the weekend has to be good too.

No mist here yesterday Moh, just a heavy dew but this morning we have almost a fog. Glass steady on 30.2" so prospect of another nice early spring day. The cool breeze kept temperatures down yesterday. Could be less breeze today so warmer.

I completely missed the clocks changing. Thought I was up at 4am....
Glass risen to 30.4" Bit of mist. Nowhere near as much as yesterday, visibility was less than 100 yards. Another nice day.....

Lovely start to the morning, not as misty as yesterday. The lambs around us are doing well in all this fine weather, but it's not easy getting them out of our cattle grid. A tiny one on Friday...that was easy, but this morning's was a whopping great thing that seemed too big to pull back out. Just managed to yank him through a slightly wider gap in the middle.

Record-breaking weather. Aberdeenshire had 22.8C yesterday, highest March temperature ever recorded there. Cause is the jet stream curving North and allowing a large blocking high pressure over the UK. Set to continue all week, no rain in sight. Glass has risen to 30.5" this morning, clear sky so sun will get through all day. Yesterday was pleasant, today is going to be even warmer as there is no mist to burn off at the moment. I can't remember a better March! Wonderful weather as long as we have water in the reservoirs. Not good news further South of course.

Another fabulous day. Had a nice day yesterday, went to visit granddaughter and her family at their caravan at Howarth then had a picnic on the moors in glorious sunshine.

Continuous sunshine all day and perhaps 22C. Dinnertime walk in shirt sleeves, all right, a padded waistcoat No wind, no mist, a perfect spring day. Glass solid at 30.5" with a slight tendency to rise. No mist so another good day to come. Good for us, bad for drought areas.
Just back from early walk and it's a lovely morning, chilly, heavy dew and clear sky with full sun. This and better will do!

Glass tending to fall from 30.5" but it looks like a re-run of yesterday. I think we had about 22C in Barlick. Lovely weather, very kind!

It came in slightly cooler last night, lit the stove for a couple of hours in the evening. Glass is falling back slowly as the high moves west into the Atlantic, down to 30.3" this morning but still dry and all the signs of a good day for March. This cycle of frost at night and 70F during the day reminds me of typical Minnesota weather at this time of year.

The blocking high is fading away to the west and yesterday was cloudier and cooler but came out nicely by mid-morning. Same expected today but the weather is changing already in the North of Scotland and will slowly work its way down. April 1st will see a return to normal conditions but it has been a nice interlude. Glass is 30.2" this morning, a slow fall, dry and cloudy but I think we'll have a good bit of sun later. Still wonderful weather.
