I've been perusing Aldi storage on google images, I can't see anything that looks like the posted item.

The mystery object is the lid from a box of clementines.

The box is made out of MDF and is slotted together without any glue. It's very sturdy; very well designed.

It's still in use for storing our citrus fruit.
