Why've you posted piccy of your blocked drain here Pluggy?(!)
(Do you remember the episode where Victor Meldrew had an endoscopy and was watching the footage at home, groaning at the foul items uncovered in his gut?
► Show Spoiler
The denouement was that he'd mixed the video up with CCTV footage of his drains....
).
Anyhow, is anyone going to guess why the snails were eating the strawberry?

Because one of them had won the "first to the strawberry" race, but didn't eat it fast enough and so had to share it's prize with the slowcoaches who came in second & third.

Wendy has it; a snail race.
Part of the activities at one of our Barlick Bugs event in 2008.
Here's Richard Whiteley as course steward with the crowd at the course.

Yep, Wendy has it, during the early stages of mixing in a breadmaker, this is what it looked like 3 hours later :

Not local. What is it? Where is it?

Exhibit in a slate mine?

No, but it would have probably been a better exhibit than the one on show. Clue, Lake district.

Perhaps this one is a little too difficult. Unless you have actually seen it its unlikely that it could be guessed. Its a modern 'sculpture' in the lake side park area at Ambleside. My first thoughts on seeing it was that it was a giant kaleidoscope, 5 ft pentagon at the opening tapering down to 1 ft after about 20 ft. Other than an item for 'mystery objects' or as originally intended a modern sculpture it doesn't appear to have any usage.

I think I've seen the last one from the road; I thought it looked like a large horn.

Is it what I believe some people call a "duster", I think it is used for cleaning (not sure of that word) or some other obscure pastime??

Looks like a support bandage to me. Velcro on one end? I'm pretty certain that the other item is his foot.....

Gloria, you're not likely to catch me with a duster!
Stanley is on the right lines (and spot on with my foot...)

Is it for support around the tummy area perhaps for a hernia after an op??
Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS

I think that's near enough Gloria; it's one of the surgical corsets I had to wear following cardiac surgery. It was worn around the chest to help prevent the wound gaping open and reduce pull on the breast bone - which is split down the middle for the op...

I didn't need that description, fairly made me cringe, "duster" whould have done me.

Sorry if that's too much information, Pluggy!
On the same theme, and for a bonus point, who can tell us what this is called?

Is it for supporting the lower back when seated? Preserving your lordosis....

Not for back support.
