It's `Stan', the Tyrannosaurus rex, at the Manchester Museum!

Tizer's got it of course. Given that some Tykes are prone to exaggeration I thought some Barlicker's may think its a rabbits scull.
Next please.

Blast it, thought it was a Yorkshire Rabbit!
OK, it's a Jackalope; the example you picture is seated at a restaurant near Death Valley...
(Sorry, googled; found same pic on Wikipedia.)
What about these strange markings on stone flags? Aliens at work?

I reckon it might be marks left by the tent frame on the Town Square, or Wendy could be right. Maybe a precursor to the odd light in the sky or those red blokes that run round town. Rumour has it that there will be lot more of them this year.

Stone Age doodles representing a `back of an envelope' plan for the latest hill fort? "Hey, Egbert, lend me your stonepad and chisel, I've got a brilliant idea for a new fort."

Much prefer the more inventive answers...
But, Ian has it; it's the marks left by the underside of the plastic flooring we put down in the entrance way.
Here it is with Marjorie Adams, Diane Cardwell and John Barrett on guard duty.

All this talk of hip and knee replacements reminded me of this bit of kit. Who would have owned it?

Let's make a more precise guess - a Royal Navy ship's surgeon in the 19th Century?

The surgeon bit is correct, Tizer made a stab at it, but wrong forces. I'm going to do a Stanley here and ask for more detail.
