Wrote an article yesterday but Talktalk email is having a brain fart. Not sure if it has reached Nelson yet...
Exciting stuff in the shed, valve setting today!

All done in Anglsey. The Estate agent has been and is very impressed with the improvements. He reckons we could get at least £100 per week more than we were getting for renting before. The weather has been glorious for two days. I managed to tidy the garden and Bob mended the shed. All carpets and flooring went down today. We are pleased with the result.


Off to France for a week now, for our first trip if the year. Tree planting I think.

06:30. All my jobs done, we've inspected the town on a frosty foggy morning and now we are off into the shed......

Having a day out at the Registry of Deeds in Wakefield, researching the water mill site in Earby. Leaving Colin decorating....I only get in the way if I try to help!

We put in new stairs, new kitchen, new bathroom, in some cases new walls as plaster tended to fall off as I was painting. There were some new windows, new carpets and flooring in the bathroom and kitchen. We had floors levelled and insulated layers put in the kitchen and added central heating and converted a corner cupboard into an airing cupboard. Every room was redecorated. 5 months work in total, spending a couple of days a week there. I think I will desist from decorating for a bit now. However I do for see a nice Easter weekend in Anglesey , even if we will have to use camp beds and sleeping bags.

I did some overtime last night and my engine is finished and back on the sideboard. I put compressed air on it and it runs lovely. Plenty in my head for the shed.....

Picked up a big trailer of horse poo for the garden. All spread under the fruit trees. I was the support person(!), funny what makes people happy.

I think you're right Cathy. Too early in the morning to take an informed view but all the signs at the moment are that I am improving so I might be doing the right things.... Will carry on doing the same until I have evidence to the contrary!
Could be a good time to write articles......

Wrote an article.... could be more because I'm still looking after myself.

Bob has hurt his back, I have yet another cold and here we are in France with over a 100 small trees and bushes to plant with only 4 days to do it in.

Oh Dear.... You need a couple of strong young people......
Writing articles.... I fancy the shed but I'm restraining myself!
