I'm impressed by your adventurous cooking.... I had well fried tomatoes and one sausage on two small butties for dinner and one sausage, one tomato and two eggs, all fried in rape oil, on three oven bottoms for tea. Lovely butties!

Two Stilton and tomato butties for dinner. For tea I thawed and grilled two Mutton chops and had two good butties. The gravy in the pan was so good I couldn't throw it away so I mopped it up with another oven bottom and had a third butty!
By the way, I don't know if I mentioned the large block of mature cheddar I bought because it was a good price.... Too big for me and a mistake. Daughter Susan has taken it off my hands to I can buy cheese again!

Cheese freezes well Stanley, you could cut it into smaller pieces and freeze it. We buy cheap hard cheese and grate it before freezing.

Just didn't fancy it Wendy, it went to a good home!
I'm having a push to eat the last of the Mutton in the freezer so I can defrost and order another old ewe. Dinner and tea yesterday were both Mutton butties made with slow cooked chops and steaks. I have some more defrosting in the fridge for today.....

An omelette (or frittata) with mushrooms, onions, green pepper & cheese served with steamed asparagus & mange tout....all cooked on one ring. The difficult bit was turning the eggy thing over to cook the other side, not having an oven or grill.

Two small pressed beef butties for dinner. A meat pie and veggies for tea followed by Rhubarb and custard thanks to Wendy. I was going to make proper custard with the fresh eggs she gave me but in the end copped out and bought Ambrosia Cream custard.... Sorry....

Had roast pork for dinner last night, accompanied (amongst other things) by some freshly shot carrots. Those are the sort that have been freshly liberated from a local(ish) field by one of the farming community, and laid upon our doorstep.

Spinach and Ricotta Cheese filled Pasta with Red Salmon and Cauliflower tonight, in a white/Cheese Sauce. ( ate too much but it was yum)

Good. Pleased to hear it, I hate the vegetarian variety, always seems greasy to me.
I had an egg day thanks to Wendy. A three egg omelette for dinner with tomato and Lancashire cheese. For tea I had a small cauliflower (They have been poor quality and as much as £1.29 lately but yesterday they had good heads at 89p), no dressing apart from a small amount of butter and topped up with two oven bottoms with cheese and tomato. The cauliflower was a nice change....

Did some veggie shopping and had Cauliflower and parsnip for dinner. I lit the stove and cooked a ham hock and pease pudding so tea was cauliflower, parsnips, pease pudding and a steak pudding. I have an embarrassment of food in the fridge!
