We are warming up again.
This is more like Spring!

I’ve finally gone back to normal cotton sheets, and packed the flannelette ones away 😊
So late this year .
Probably time to open (and clean) the ducted air-con vents too.

Yesterday was a damp and gloomy affair but by 20:00 we had a light breeze and a clear sky with a big moon rising. First thing this morning it was calm and we had scattered cloud, the wind has got up a bit since and the cloud has thickened. We are promised heavy rain within the next hour and that will last until this evening. The glass has fallen to 993mb and is steady. The forecast is for rain all day and the constant southerly wind will be brisk and gust to 35mph giving a high of 12C and a low of 9C with a -3C chill all day. The 6 day outlook is for similar weather but less rain.
06:00. It's wet and windy out there just as forecast.

Today we had our Adelaide Christmas Pageant.
Normally it’s in heat-wave weather, but today it’s all thunderstorms and lots of rain!
It’s our 2nd thunderstorm this week.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and at 20:00 we had a light breeze, it was dry and cool with an overcast sky. First thing this morning it was basically the same and there has been no change since. The glass is down on 1007mb. The forecast is for a misty start and then a dry overcast day. The mainly east wind is light and gives a high of 11C and a low of 8C with a -2C chill at times. Expect wet and windy tomorrow and then overcast, colder more mixed weather for the rest of the week. Overall we are starting to cool down to more seasonable temperatures.

I posted today's weather but it seems to have vanished so here it is again.....
Yesterday was wet..... The rain eventually subsided around 18:00 and we settled into a calm, cool night under broken cloud. That's how it was first thing this morning and there has been no change. The class is down on 984mb. The forecast is for a cloudy but dry day. The SE wind is light and gives us a high of 8C and a low of 6C with up to -3C wind chill. (That's right, for much of the day the perceived temperature will be 4C, nearer the seasonal norm.) The 6 day outlook is for even cooler weather and some rain with it. Our warm weather from the Azores seems to have dried up!

I've just been for my walk and a 15 minute sit on traffic duty opposite the bookies. The Met Office forecast says that it is 5C including the wind chill and I'll believe them. It's a day for wrapping up warm....

Yes, and I remember watching her walk and thinking how nice it would be to be able to walk like that again.....
Tell her thank you for saying I was smart. The Kids made me buy that coat, a 'Musto' as worn by the Late Queen and Prince Philip.....a snip at £625.... :biggrin2:
Yesterday we had enough dry spells to make the day acceptable but late afternoon it was raining steadily. At 20:00 the rain had stopped and we had a ragged overcast. First thing this morning we had a light breeze, it was cold and raining. It hasn't changed since. The glass is down on 978mb and falling. The forecast is for rain all day. The mainly NW wind is moderate and gives a high of 9C a low of 7C and a -3 wind chill. The 6 day outlook is for similar weather getting a bit brighter but as it does, colder.

I thought of Wendy and Sally when I noted a brief lull in the rain around 14:00.......
Yesterday it rained all day, end of story. At 20:00 it had bated and we had a light breeze, cool under on overcast sky. This morning first thing it was the same and hasn't changed. The glass is up a touch on 983mb and rising. The forecast is dry overcast until late morning and then light showers come in for the rest of the day. The constant moderate west wind gives us a high of 9C and a low of 6C tonight with as much as -3C chill during the day. The 6 day outlook is for cooler weather and perhaps more rain....

Yesterday was mainly dry and this was the case at 20:00 but rain came in again during the night. This morning first thing it was wet and windy and this hasn't changed. The glass is down slightly on 1000mb and falling. The forecast is for the heavy rain to clear this morning but then to return as frequent showers and sunny intervals later. The SW wind is moderate and gives a high of 8C and a low 0f 1C tonight with as much as -3C chill this afternoon. The 6 day outlook is for similar weather but dryer except for Wednesday. Strange weather conditions today, we’ve had a bit of everything. I planned to do some garden clipping, but I fear I might be blown away with the 40kph winds :laugh5:
It looks like we will have a nice couple of days during the week, so will plan any outings then.

It’s chilly too.

I like your comment about it being chilly Cathy! It's all relative isn't it, we are in single figures, a frost forecast for tonight and reports of snow on the Northern hills in Scotland. That's our version of chilly. :biggrin2:

Yesterday was a miserable wet day that didn't clear up until the evening. At 20:00 we had a light breeze and a clear sky. It was the same first thing this morning and hasn't changed since. We have a frost, it will be white by dawn. The glass is down on 997mb and the forecast is for early mist then cloud and by noon it will be raining again. The east wind is moderate and gusts to 30mph at times giving a high of 5C and a low of 4C but with a wind chill of up to -4c which means that the perceived temperature will be sub zero until it starts raining at midday. The outlook is for similar weather, still looking for wind and rain on Wednesday.
