I'm back up and taking notice again and it's still raining despite the forecast saying it's stopped. :biggrin2:

Yesterday the rain bated a few times but essentially it was still raining at 20:00. This morning it's calm, mild and dry and the glass is steady on 996mb. The forecast is for a bright overcast day with sunny spells until late afternoon when we can expect some heavy showers. The southerly winds are light to moderate and give us a high of 12C and a low of 8C tonight with a -2C wind chill. The outlook is for similar mild wet weather for the next week. March might be 'going out like a lamb'.

Yesterday we had wind and cold rain in between the sunny intervals. Some of the showers were very loose indeed! At 20:00 it had stopped raining and we had a breeze and an overcast sky. This morning first thing it was the same and hasn't changed since. The glass is up on 1007mb and still rising. The forecast is for an overcast but dry day. The westerly wind is moderate and gives us a high of 8C and a low of 5C tonight with up to a -3C wind chill during the day. The outlook is for similar weather all week but with sunny intervals and showers.

Yesterday managed to stay dry but at 20:00 it was overcast and felt like rain..... First thing this morning we had a light breeze and constant rain. It's still the same. The glass is up on 1009mb but falling. The forecast is for light rain all day with a brief dry spell in the afternoon. The constant SW wind is moderate and gives a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with up to -3C wind chill. The 6 day outlook is for similar temperatures in double figures but with westerly weather and plenty of rain.

Yesterday the rain came in again in the late afternoon and at 20:00 it had bated but only just. We had a breeze and a heavy overcast. It was the same this morning, evidence of recent rain, a light breeze and overcast. It's dry now, the breeze has dropped and the overcast is breaking up. The glass is down on 1002mb and falling. The forecast is for mixed showers and sunny intervals settling down to dry bright overcast this afternoon. The mainly SW wind is moderate, gusting to 30mph and giving us a high of 10C, a low of 7C tonight and a wind chill that could be as much as -4C. The outlook is for similar broken weather for the rest of the week.

Back to normality, nearly, lot colder here now we are home. Damp and a bit missly, there was a hint of warmth in the sun yesterday, felt like spring is coming.

Poor Lass! Now you pay for all the nice weather you've been enjoying......
Yesterday was mostly damp and drizzle. We had occasional bursts of sun but not many. At 20:00 we had a breeze and significant rain. First thing this morning it was the same and the only change since is that the rain is a bit lighter. The glass is down on 986mb but tending to rise. The forecast is for the rain to stop about now and for us to have a sunny morning and an afternoon of sunny intervals with light showers. The mainly SW wind is brisk and gusts to 40mph at times giving us a high of 10C and a low of 5C tonight with as much as -5C wind chill this morning...... The 6 day outlook is for similar weather but perhaps cooler later in the week.
05:00. The rain has stopped and the wind has risen.....

I noticed the heat in the sun while I was on traffic duty Gloria..... They're forecasting some colder temperatures at weekend but I feel we are over the worst of winter now. :biggrin2:
Yesterday ended wet and windy at 20:00. This morning it was still windy but under a clear sky and it was dry. The glass hasn't shifted since yesterday, still on 986mb. The forecast is for sunny intervals and light showers. The wind is still constant in the SW and is brisk, gusting to over 30mph. It gives us a high of 10C, a low of 5C tonight and a wind chill of -5C when the wind is at it's strongest. The outlook is for more of the same but colder at weekend.

Still the same rain wise but just for the record it was the Spring Equinox on Monday. Seems about right to me.

I heard an 'expert' say on the radio on the 21st, that the equinox might equally well have been called the equilux. Equal light as well as equal dark.

It was in the middle of the night though, and I wasn't fully awake.

Yesterday afternoon dried up for a while but then the rain came back, some of it thundery around 15:00. At 20:00 it was raining. First thing this morning it was breezy, dry and we had broken cloud. It hasn't changed since. The glass is still steady on 985mb. The forecast is for bright overcast, sunny intervals and light showers. The constant SW wind is brisk and gusts to almost 40mph frequently during the day giving a high of 11C and a low of 5C with a wind chill of up to -5C. The outlook is for dryer brighter weather but colder until next Wednesday when the wind and rain return but the temperature goes back to double figures.

Yesterday we never got rid of the occasional showers. At 20:00 it was just starting to rain again after a dry spell. First thing this morning we had a light breeze and rain and it hasn't changed since. The glass is once more steady on 995mb. The forecast is for rain until 09:00 then a dry spell but sunny intervals and showers during the afternoon. The wind is a brisk westerly gusting to over 40mph for the early part of the day but calming down later. It gives us a high of 9C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill of -4C early in the day. The outlook for next week is for cool broken weather like today but by Wednesday it will be warming well into double figures.

We’ve had some overcast skies.
This is more like Autumn 😊

Those do look like very acceptable temperatures Cathy..... :biggrin2:
Yesterday was reasonably dry but there was always a hint of rain in the air. At 20:00 it was raining again and we had a breeze. First thing this morning it was dry, calm and cooler than of late, it hasn't changed since. The glass rose strongly all day yesterday and this morning is up on 1000mb and still tending to rise. The forecast is for a dry day but overcast. The constant ENE wind is moderate and gives us a high of 6C and a low of 2C with a -4C wind chill all day. The outlook is for two more days of single figure temperature (Tuesday with rain....) and then back to much milder weather. It's beginning to look like April!

Yesterday was bright but cold and at 20:00 the wind had dropped and the sky was clearing. First thing this morning it was calm, cool and dry under an almost clear sky. It hasn't changed since. The glass is well up at 1020mb and still rising. The forecast is for broken cloud becoming sunny intervals later this morning, a dry day. The wind is very light and variable swinging all round the compass giving a high of 7C and a low of 5C tonight with at most a -2C chill during the day. The outlook is for the temperature to rise over the next few days but for more rain. March appears to be going out like a lamb....

Yesterday the absence of wind plus the strong sunshine gave a very pleasant feel to the day. By 20:00 it was cooler but we had very little wind and an almost clear sky. This morning first thing it was the same but since then the wind has risen The glass had dropped slightly to 1006mb and is still falling. The forecast is for it to cloud over and by 09:00 we will have significant rain which will last until 18:00 this evening. The constant southerly wind will be moderate and give us a high of 9C and a low of 8C tonight with up to -4C wind chill during the day. The outlook is for similar weather, warmer for a few days and scattered rain. In other words, April showers!
06:00. We have had a light shower of rain...... Not on the hymn sheet.
