Do you open it up and use it as some sort of screen, e.g. to weld things and stop sparks going everywhere?

BBQ?
I have no idea...
Small handles so not built to hold anything too weighty. Side hinges down?
Does it smoke meat or cook bread?

( I know...I am drowning here...)

Here it is melting lead in the shed Maz. You could always tell me the name of the stove and what it runs off.....

A Bunsen Burner ?
I almost thought it was a breadbin for a square loaf out of your bread-maker haha

Every home should have one...though I wouldn't light that thing so close to those pressurised/aerosol cans Stanley.

Not quite Cathy, think Sweden.... No danger to the cans Maz, very controlled heat...

Time to knock it on the head, it's a Primus stove, yet another of Sweden's great gifts to the world. Small, powerful and totally portable. Try this one, very obscure......

I knew what it was but I thought it so obvious, I'd leave it for someone else. Fabulous lump of kit if you wanted a brew up a mountain. It left the butane/propane stoves of the 70's/80's for dead. Slightly inconvenient to light.....

I think I mentioned this the last time it was up but I have a miniature, (I think quarter pint) portable primus in its own little tin. The tank is about 3" across and collapsed it all fits in a tin not much bigger.

I had one of the miniatures in a tin and it may have been that which gave me the idea for the improved full size version which Les and I designed. This acts as a windbreak as well. Now, back to your onions! What is the last one?

They are worn out brass combs that were fitted to the leading edges of the cross head where it runs in the slide. Intended to spread the oil evenly over the slide. very obscure....
Next for shaving?

I had no idea what they were.
I was following the old adage "better to keep quiet and be thought an idiot, than speak up and remove all doubt". :laugh5:

No shame in that Maz, Very few people could possibly recognise them.

I haven't done one for a while.

Not obscure at all, just not the whole story.....

Fake camera?
Concealed camera ( oooooo....ummmmm...why would you want one of those?) :forgetit:
Sensor of some sort?
Doorbell with camera?

A little robot inside a space capsule? Or a koala bear that took a wrong turning in a hospital or supermarket?

Aw...no...our cuddly wuddly Koala Bears are pretty special...even if they are a bit prone to investigate inappropriate spaces.

Nothing half as esoteric as that. ;)

I do **cough** have concealed cameras but this isn't one of them.

It could be construed as being a sensor of some sort.

Is it on the floor?
Could it be something you pass/walk over and it turns the light on up ahead?
( :imsmilin: jeez! Busting to get one right on this topic....)

Ah...a heat sensor maybe? ( perhaps) :sigh:
