I started this thread in 2010 after the general election in 2015, when Nick Clegg the Deputy Prime Minister went on holiday at the same time as David Cameron, and commented that he hadn't realised he shouldn't have done so.

Well - it looks as if Nick doesn't read this site, as last week he did it again.

I liked the BBC's image of a protester at the summit on climate change at the United Nations. She's holding a big sign that says: "There is no planet B".

Seen on the BBC site...Today's cartoon on the front page of the Daily Telegraph shows someone holding the phone in the Cabinet Office, looking over his shoulder and saying "It's Prince Philip for you Prime Minister. He's not purring...".

They're voting again to go to war tomorrow. Against whom? I've heard the enemy described as IS, ISIS, and ISIL in the last 24 hrs. How will we know when to stop? Where's the Chilcott report?

I listen to his Saturday morning programme on LBC, now it's available on the digital. I note that his partner in crime Ken Livingstone was absent yesterday. Didn't hear why.Sub was Simon Danschuk. He can be a bit abrupt to callers there. I've heard him say to one - "I'll thank you to keep a civil tongue in your head" Pot / kettle?

Have you noticed how it seems to be more common now for people being interviewed on, say, the Today programme to start their reply with "Listen". It always sounds impolite to me.

Yes. Or 'look' which seems equally impolite to me.

A Telegraph cartoon this morning shows Stonehenge with a man walking past the standing stones under a headline "Nick Clegg visits Stonehenge" - one of the stones is thinking "I wonder what's he for?"

In The Times, alongside the main story about UKIP manipulating the selection of prospective candidates, is a cartoon showing Farage and another man drinking beer in a pub. Farage is saying "You like the ideal candidate to get another round in".

Allo, allo, what's all this then? The front page of The Sun `reveals' how Madonna has been showing off her breasts, under the headline "Madonna with the big boobies" (I wonder if younger readers will get the joke?)
