I've just got back from a walk and a sit on traffic duty together with a couple of items of shopping for my chicken roast on Friday (I think). We have full sun and a very welcome light breeze. Lovely.....

Yesterday was another Indian Summer day. At 20:00 it was partially overcast. This morning first thing it was the same and we had a spatter of raindrops at 02:30. I've had a shufti and it';s stayed dry since. The glass is steady on 1017mb. The forecast is for a bright overcast day with some sunny intervals. The easterly winds are light and give a high of 25C, a low of 14C and negligible wind chill. The six day outlook is for another couple of warm days then from Saturday onwards, getting cooler and with more chance of a light shower.

Yesterday was essentially a day of sunny intervals and as it turned out, Saharan dust! At 20:00 it was calm dry, clear and mild. It is the same this morning but with a thin haze. (Is it still dust?) The glass is down slightly on 1014mb. The forecast is for a sunny day. The wind is very light, starting in the east and eventually settling in the west this evening. It gives us a high of 25C and a low tonight of 16C with no wind chill. The six day forecast gives us yet another sunny dry day day tomorrow but then it starts to cloud over, get cooler and perhaps a few rain showers. Indian Summers don't last forever!

Backup after a nice sleep and my chicken is back in the oven browning.....
The morning gas settled down to very bright overcast and no longer the light mizzle that greeted me when I went to the Co-op. It's going to be another hot one!

Yesterday was yet another Indian Summer Day. A bit more overcast but a very warm day nevertheless. At 20:00 it was calm, dry and overcast. This morning first thing it was calm and dry with broken cloud, no moon but stars visible. It is still the same. The glass is back slightly on 1013mb. The forecast is for a misty start and then sun all day. The light westerly wind gives us a high of 24C and a low of 16C tonight with no wind chill. We have another warm day tomorrow but with the chance of an occasional rain shower. After that temperatures start to fall and there is more chance of rain...... Back to normal and on the slippery slope towards back end and the heating season..... :biggrin2:

Just back from a walk and a sit on the bench at the end of Albert Road. I had one of Amanda's salad butties on white teacake. Nice sit and a spatter of thunder rain on the way home but nothing serious.

Yesterday was another warm fine day after the mist cleared. At 20:00 it was dusk and still warm, we had distant thunder in the SE during the night. The glass is steady on 1013mb. The forecast gives occasional showers and a yellow warning for thunder early this evening. The constant light easterly wind gives us a high of 23C and a low of 17C tonight with no wind chill. It looks as though this is our last day of Indian Summer, tomorrow the forecast is for 19C and subsequent days are cooler. There's time for more warm weather yet but we shall have to wait and see!

We are back to Spring 🌼
It will be very warm by the end of the week.
No rain expected in the next 10 days.

I’ve had quite a bit of work done in my front garden, just waiting for new bark to finish it off nicely 😊

Yesterday the forecasted thunder and torrential rain was confined to a light shower at about 04:30 and no thunder that I heard. At 20:00 it was overcast and going dark early. First thing this morning it was calm, and dry under a clear sky, since then the wind has risen slightly and we now have overcast. The glass has fallen to 1007mb. The forecast is for the overcast to become light rain later thus morning. The westerly wind is light to moderated and gives us a high of 18C with a low of 12C tonight and up to -2C wind chill this afternoon. The six day outlook is for similar but cooler weather for the next week. It looks as though our very welcome Indian Summer is over.
Later.... Light rain started at 06:00 and an hour later is still with us. Very light but not on the hymn sheet.

Yesterday was a day of light rain, the rain that started in the early morning never really left us all day and at 20:00 was full blown rain. It was raining first thing this morning and hasn't changed since. The glass has risen to 1009mb and the forecast is for rain all day, could be some sunny intervals this afternoon. The constant NE wind is light and gives us a high of 14C and a low tonight of 6C with a -2C chill. The six day forecast is for similar cooler weather but less rain. The Indian Summer is definitely over!

Yesterday afternoon wasn't sunny but it was dry, as per the forecast. At 20:00 it was calm and overcast. This morning first thing it was calm, cool and clear and it hasn't changed since. The glass is up on 1018mb and the forecast is for a clear sunny morning clouding over at midday but staying dry. The light wind varies from NW this morning to SE tonight giving us a high of 16C and a low of 12C with perhaps a -2C chill this afternoon. The six day outlook is for similar temperatures, overcast but mainly dry.

Just seen a long range forecast report on my phone. Apparently we are due to have about a fortnight of duller, wetter and cooler weather then a return to what will then be an unseasonably warmer spell. It will definitely be Autumn then.

Yesterday was a brighter afternoon than forecast but at 20:00 it had started to rain and it was going dark. This morning it's still raining. The glass has fallen to 1015mb and the forecast is for the rain to stop by 07:00 and for it to be a dry day after that. The wind is westerly all day starting moderate but soon tailing off into a light breeze giving us a high of 16C and a low of 12C tonight with negligible wind chill. The six day forecast is for very similar weather.

Yesterday afternoon was better than the forecast..... At 20:00 it was very heavy overcast but dry and going dark early. First thing this morning it was the same but with evidence of a shower during the night, since then it has started raining. The glass is down a touch on 1013mb and the forecast is for a bright overcast day once these initial showers are over by 09:00. The wind is light, variable and mainly SE giving us a high of 19C and a low of 12C with negligible wind chill. Nothing exciting in the outlook, looks like very similar weather for at least another week.

We're getting close to that now Kev, it was chilly in the front room last night. (I like the pic!)
Yesterday afternoon managed to stay dry but at 20:00 was very heavy overcast and went dark early. This morning it's overcast but dry. The glass is down a touch on 1012mb. The forecast is for a dry day but overcast. The constant NE wind is light to moderate and gives is a high of 15C and a low tonight of 13C with a -3C chill this afternoon. The outlook for the next six days is mixed but similar, rain features more from Monday onwards.
