A Scotch egg with mushy peas for dinner and a Rib steak dried in butter with peas and two fried eggs for tea. Afters was raspberries and set full cream live yoghurt. The raspberries were starting to get mould on them so I washed them and ignored it. Not really worth it, they were so bloody sour. I was glad for a sweet Braeburn apple afterwards!

My veggie and bacon stew X 2 for dinner and tea with cheese and oatcakes and an apple. U treated my self to some Co-op Fair trade 70% dark chocolate, it's packed as six individual 21g bars which makes it easier to ration. I have great faith in good chocolate.......

Meat pie and veggie stew for dinner. Grilled sausage and veggie stew for tea. Kath gave me some double cream on Saturday so I got plums and stewed them and some strawberries. Stewed plums, strawberries and double cream for pudding. I started a fresh beef stew in the slow cooker, Steak, Kidney and cubed shin beef quietly arguing with itself with chopped tomatoes.

I had two spuds for chipping but never used them so I cubed and boiled them and added frozen peas at the last minute. Then the whole boiling tipped into the meat stew. Wendy called in and gave me some fresh beetroot so I par-boiled them, chopped them and chucked them in as well. So I had beef stew and veggies for dinner and tea. pudding was the stewed plums and strawberries plus 2oz of double cream. Good combination and a lovely colour!

I made a stir fry thing with smoked lardons, I added an onion, about a quarter of a tin of chopped tomatoes, half of a pepper, some flaked chilli and chucked a small tin of sausage and beans in to thicken it. It came out a bit like a cross between a stir fry and cassoulet, very tasty. I have a serving left for my lunch.
