I've had my walk and a sit and then done veggie shopping in the Square with Mick my son in law. It was a bit mizzlie early on but is bright and dry at the moment!

Yesterday afternoon was mainly dry but by 20:00 we had rain and it was set in for the night. This morning it's mild and we have serious rain and a good breeze. We see the return of the yellow warning for rain and the glass remains steady on 975mb, Storm Babet is still with us! The forecast is for heavy rain all day and a strong wind to go with it. The constant ENE wind will be strong and gusts to 45mph later in the day giving a high of 11C, a low of 7C tonight and a wind chill this afternoon of -5C at times. The yellow warning for rain ends at 06:00 tomorrow and the six day forecast is for much quieter and drier weather but a similar temperature to today.

Didn't Asda have a problem with their roof a few years ago?
That tree would bring matters to a halt!
Yesterday was simple, we had wind and rain all day. It was just stopping raining at 20:00. This morning it's dry but not clear we have a light breeze and heavy overcast. Either my barometer has seized up or the blocking high over Scandinavia is still in place and the glass is rock steady on 975mb. The forecast is for a dry but overcast day. The wind starts as a moderate NE but during the day backs and subsides to a light westerly this evening giving us a high of 11C, a low of 7C tonight with a -3C chill this morning but -2C this afternoon. The six day outlook is for very similar weather to today all week.

I'm pleased to report that my barometer isn't poorly. I just tapped it and it has moved up off 975mb, there is hope for us yet. Babet is losing her grip and moving North.

Yesterday was better than forecast for us, if I hadn't been cooking veggies I would have had a walk and a sit! At 20:00 it was calm, dry and overcast. This morning it's calm, cold and clear and the glass rose all yesterday to 991mb. The forecast is for it to be overcast until midday and then to clear to give sunny intervals and occasional showers. The mainly SW wind is light and constant and gives us a high of 11C and a low of 4C tonight with up to a -2C chill this afternoon. The six day outlook is for similar weather.

Nice day here in Adelaide if you are out of the wind - 18km/h, which isn’t too bad but it’s a Southerly, and makes it feel like 13C.
No real rain expected in next 10 days.
Visibility 30km. Looks like a good week. 👍

Yesterday afternoon managed to stay dry and at 20:00 it was calm, dry and overcast. This morning it is calm and dry, the sky is clear but with scattered clouds. The glass has risen again and is up to 1050mb. The forecast is for an overcast day but dry, perhaps some mist or fog early on. The constant east wind is light and gives us a high of 10C a low of 9C tonight and perhaps a chill of -2C this afternoon. The outlook is still for 6 days of similar weather with maybe an occasional light shower.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but dull and boring and never tempted me out. At 20;00 it was calm overcast and dry but this morning there was evidence we had a light shower earlier and the sky is overcast. The glass has fallen to 999mb and the forecast is for persistent rain for most of the day. The light winds will be easterly and give a high of 9C and a low of 5C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook remains the same, similar temperatures all week with occasional showers. Perhaps October has got fed up with being wet and windy!

Two hours later and I am back downstairs after a good sleep. I almost stayed there but that would be too easy. I shall pursue the day! It's stopped raining for the time being but still looks damp and gloomy..... It's almost as though we have started November weather early. 61 days to Xmas and Next Sunday we change the clocks..... This awful year is dying......

Yesterday was wet and at and gloomy and at 20:00 it wasn't raining but still overcast. This morning it is calm clear and dry. The glass is down on 995mb and the forecast is for a bright overcast start to the day but the sunny intervals change to heavy overcast and showers after midday. The mainly WNW winds are light and give a high of 10C and a low of 7C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar temperatures, perhaps a heavy rain day on Sunday.

Yesterday stayed drier then the forecast mainly but there was at least one very light shower around 18:00. At 20:00 it was calm dry and overcast but clearing. This morning first thing it was calm dry and overcast and it hasn't changed since. The glass is down on 988mb and still falling. The forecast is for light rain during the morning but clearing to dry and overcast for the rest of the day. The constant easterly winds are light and give us a high of 10C and a low of 8C tonight with only a very slight wind chill. The six day outlook is unchanged, very similar weather for the week.

Yesterday managed to stay dry for most of the later part of the afternoon and at 20:00 it was calm and clear with an almost full moon. This morning first thing it was calm and dry but overcast and hasn't changed since. The glass is down to below 989mb and still falling. The forecast isn't very cheerful.... Mist and perhaps drizzle during the next few hours morphing into heavy overcast for the rest of the day but hopefully dry. The light but constant easterly winds give us a high of 11C and a low of 8C tonight with only a slight wind chill this afternoon. The Outlook remains very similar to now but with increasing chances of rain showers.

Yesterday afternoon the weather brightened up a but but not much. At 20:00 we were back in calm overcast mode. First thing this morning we had a calm clear morning with an almost full moon. It seems to be gradually clouding over now. The glass is steady on 983mb and the forecast is mist and drizzle until mid morning and then drying up to overcast! Deep Joy. The constant light ESE wind gives us a high of 10C and a low of 8C tonight with a -2C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is unchanged, similar or lower temperatures and rain forecast from Wednesday on.
