We’ve had a very light dusting of snow overnight, it’s warmer than yesterday and most of the dusting has gone.

Yesterday afternoon was notable mainly for a slow thaw. At 20;00 it was overcast and we had light snow. First thing this morning it was overcast and milder than of late, I have just poked me head out and it hasn't changed. The glass has fallen to 998mb. The forecast is for rain/snow all day until at least 15:00. The NE wind will be constant and moderate and gives us a high of 4C and a low of 3C tonight with a -4C wind chill for much of the day so wrap up warm. There is a yellow warning for ice, probably because of rain falling on surfaces that have been frozen for the last few days. The outlook is for warmer and drier weather for the rest of the week.
Later at 05:00. The forecast is accurate so far, it's started raining....

Yesterday was gloomy and wet but also a slow thaw and all the snow and ice melted. At 20:00 it was calm and overcast, we had light rain. This morning first thing it was the same, light rain. I've just looked outside and the overcast has broken, we have a moon and the rain has stopped. The glass is up on 1002mb and the forecast is for the overcast to clear completely by this afternoon. The constant NE wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 5C and a low tonight of -2C with a -2C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is for the weather to warm up but with the penalty of rain from tomorrow on for three days.

Yesterday followed the forecast eventually and the rain stopped late morning. At 20:00 it was clear calm and frosty and was the same this morning first thing. The glass rose all day yesterday and this morning is on 1015mb. The forecast is clear and sunny until about 14:00 when it will become overcast. The constant SE wind will be light until this evening when it will strengthen to moderate. We can expect a high of 3C and a low of 1C tonight with as much as a -5C wind chill late this evening. Starting tonight the outlook is for much milder weather but wetter and windier as well.

Yesterday it froze all day even in the sunning. At 20:00 it was overcast and perhaps slightly milder. This morning first thing it was calm overcast and dry. It's still the same. The glass has fallen to 1008mb and the forecast is for it to start raining around 07:00 and that rain will last all day. The constant SE wind will be moderate all day but will gust to 40mph this morning as the first wave of the Atlantic low comes in. We will have a high of 6C and a low of 5C tonight, the wind chill will be as much as -5C making it feel like freezing for the early part of the day. The outlook is for it to get warmer and this wet and windy weather will be with us for much of the week.
Later at 05:00. The wind has risen and we have light rain falling.
Later at 06:00. The glass is down on 1006mb and falling fast.

My measure of light levels is whether my trusty old security light over the back door triggers or not. I have to report it activated at just after 14:00 yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon it stopped raining at times but by 15:00 it had started again and was still raining at 20:00 when I went to bed. This morning we have very light rain which started recently, it has been relatively dry during the night. It's milder but still cold enough to trigger the CH. The glass fell all day yesterday and this morning seems to have steadied on 994mb. The forecast is for rain on and off all day. The mainly Southerly wind is moderate all day and gives us a very steady high of 7C with 6C tonight and a wind chill of -3 or -4 all day. The outlook is for slightly warmer weather and for the next two days, rainy. It cools slightly towards the end of the six days but only slightly, nothing to frighten the horses.
Later at 05:30. Just like yesterday, the wind has risen. It's still dry but it feels as though that won't last long!

Adelaide. From 36C today with strong winds and dry lightning strikes causing lots of fires, tomorrow we are forecast 23C with 40-50ml of heavy rain.
18C on Sunday with more heavy rain.

It has been awful and very uncomfortable today .

Morning Cathy. You have had the opposite bad weather to us. Ours has been frost and yesterday wind and rain. Today is a bit more reasonable but we could still use a bit of your heat!

It threw it down late yesterday afternoon and evening, into most of the night. Stopped now, bright bits peeping through heavy cloud.

Yesterday afternoon became mainly wet and windy. At 20:00 the overcast was breaking and we had some clear sky poking through with a stiff breeze. This morning first thing it was the same. Since then the overcast has thickened. The glass is down slightly on 990mb and falling. The forecast is for a wet day and there's a yellow warning for strong winds. The wind starts today as SE bit by noon has become a brisk SW and gusts to getting close to 50mph, this wind continues into tomorrow. We can expect a high of 9C and a low of 6C tonight with a -5C wind chill as the wind rises this afternoon and evening. There will be another wet day tomorrow, after that the weather gets drier and calmer but colder.

We only reached 17C today. Very wet, and haze is affecting visibility, some area’s down to 3km’s.
Humidity 89%
.
I don’t mind at all. 😊
