This made me smile. Didn't think Americans had such a sense of humour. . . .

Sorry about the length.... 45 minutes. But this is probably the most enlightening report I have heard on the Mandelson affair....

A video about the Etruscan Bone and Flint Mill popped up on Youtube.
Note how little they say about the boiler. I was asked to do a report on it after the Cornish Boiler had been installed and they were not pleased when I pointed out to them that they had installed it incorrectly at the wrong level and would deteriorate quickly if used. I don't know what they did about it.....

Youtube decided that I needed to watch this most impressive video .
I looked up his wiki entry - read the citation - and to my surprise, and embarassment, found that I had three of the medals on his list of awards.
That did nothing for my long standing 'imposter syndrome' at all.
RIP Captain Ram Bahadur Limbu VC

I think this might have been done with Artificial Intelligence.

I watched this last night. I am more concerned about it than the current situation in the Middle east.
Go to 2.22 to see Councilor Ghafoor's response to the collapse of his building in King Street on Tuesday 24th March 2026.. King Street collapse
It seems he is the victim here, and he blames the Building Control people for allowing people back into the building after a 999 call on March 1st reporting it's poor condition. High grade Chutzpah.
The meeting also contained his schoolboy son- speaking at the meeting, representing the 'Youth Council' . The succession seems assured.
The meeting was well up to par for drama, and qualifies as N.F.O. (Normal for Oldham).

If you have the time - this is worth a look. I watched this, featuring David Davies MP last night - in a packed house ( just seven members out of six hundred and fifty) present. Cause for concern at least I'd say. Can there be a second retrial? I'd say it's the least that should happen.

We need something in English law to look at what is a mix of statistical interpretation , in these cases where apparently there is no clear witness evidence only at best inference . I personally feel that she was culpable IF certain evidence of science was correct, but to what extent there was also institutional issues of short staffing and taking on young babies with conditions that in the past had little hope of survival.

I reviewed the video David and I agree, it's very disturbing. I am not qualified to say if anything can be done about it and I know the phrase 'lessons learned' is very tired but that's all I can see in the matter.
On a completely separate matter I saw this this morning......

Remember Stanley got Bob Bliss a pie from Hutchinsons Pie shop, on his recent pilgrimage. Google must have noticed as well, because they have directed me today to this video.
Very well filmed I'd say, and don't they look good. . .

They are good and Mr Hutchinson was impressed when I told him Bob had come 3,500 miles to sample his pies......
