That's not a shock, simply an intriguing image......
Sausage day. I started by grilling six for Jack's daily dietary supplement and six for myself. One plus sprouts and mixed veggies for dinner and another plus sprouts and mixed veggies with two fried eggs for tea. Nuts and an apple for afters.

I bought and cooked sprouts. Dinner and tea were one sausage plus mixed veggies and sprouts. Quick nutritions and filling. That'll do any day! (Definitely low carb as well......)

Good Lass Maz. Don't buy farmed salmon no matter how much they try to reassure you.....
I am still on my sausage kick, not a lot of interest in food at the moment. Dinner and tea were both one sausage, sprouts and peas. Not a problem because I like it! Nuts and an apple for afters.

Thanks Maz. Yes all good with us. There's been a few problems with the remaining older family members. And still it goes.

The scotch eggs were OK as far as the baking went but.... I didn't put enough meat around the eggs so it shrunk back a bit. I will try again and make one each, instead of two, with a thicker meat surrounding. You live and learn. Today is home made chicken parma.

Dinner was a teak pudding with a few sprouts, a very small bowlful. Tea was two sausages, peas and sprouts with some of the Lingham's Chilli Sauce that David gave me, 20gm of dark chocolate and some nuts. (That sauce is good but about 50% sugar! However you don't use much.)

I think I guessed that, but as you say just a splash is enough to liven things up. I use it for chicken stir fry with onions red peppers, and soy sauce. I also put a splash into tomato or vegetable soup. A bottle lasts me ages.

Steak pudding and the last of the sprouts for dinner, that's right, I got three puddings this week, they make such a good small early meal. For tea I had two sausages and mixed frozen veggies. I think I have been overdoing the sprouts a bit lately. I have noticed the effect! I shall give them a rest. Pity because I do like them and they are good leafy veg.

Sausage and two fried eggs for dinner. Sausage, veggies and mushy peas for tea. In case you're wondering, I'm not in cooking mode at the moment and am taking the line of least resistance.

Susan and I had Fish and chips when we got back from the hospital. For tea I had a cold Scotch egg and some nuts, not hungry after the big helping at dinner time. We got them at what used to be Bizzie Lizzie's on the Square and they were very good, particularly the batter on the fish.....

I fried mince and onions, added tomato and the usual condiments and made a nice Beef and onion sauce. I had it for dinner and tea with frozen mixed vegetables, a nice change. 20g of 85% chocolate with orange, nuts and an apple for afters.
