Yesterday it stayed dry until mid afternoon but by 16:00 it was raining. It had stopped by 19:30 when I went to bed. This morning it's calm and we have a clear sky. The glass is up on 1020mb and the forecast is for a dry overcast day until this evening when we can expect rain around 18:00. The constant SE winds start light but increase to moderate, gusting later to over 40mph. We can expect a high of 12C and a low of 8C tonight with a wind chill of -3C when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar weather, possibly wetter for the next couple of days.

We had some welcome rain last night, our gardens are starting to ‘plump out’ after winter, lots of colour too.
Such a nice day today with 17C and mostly sunny.
A bit on the cool side, but you soon warm up if walking or working outside.

I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here.
Yesterday afternoon we had a light shower of rain before dark but by 19:30 it was dry again. First thing this morning it was breezy and overcast but dry. It hasn't changed since. The glass has fallen to 1002mb and the forecast is for rain to start in the next hour and persist all day. The moderate wind starts in the east and ends the day in the north. It gusts to 40mph and we can expect a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with a -4C wind chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar temperatures but drier and brighter for the next week.

Yesterday was wall to wall heavy rain and it was still raining at 20:00. This morning, guess what, it's still raining but very lightly. The glass is rising and is on 1006mb. The forecast is for light rain showers all day. The northerly winds are light to moderate gusting to almost 35mph and giving us a high of 13C and a low tonight of 9C with a wind chill this afternoon of -3C. The outlook is for slightly warmer weather and mainly dry. Still definitely back end though.....

We had a spell of dry weather and then we went into light rain again. It's not raining at the moment but it's very damp and gloomy, a very Novemberish sort of day.....

Yesterday afternoon was gloomy and whilst it didn't actually rain, it was very damp and went dark early. This morning it's calm and overcast but dry. The glass is up on 1013mb and the forecast is for a dry bright day with a lot of sunny spells and clear skies as we go dark. The NE wind is brisk and gusts into the mid 30smph giving us a high of 14C a low of 4C tonight under the clear skies and a wind chill of up to -3C during the day. The outlook is for similar temperatures and very mixed weather. The main thing October is bringing us is wind I think.

I went for a walk up to Well Pharmacy for my meds and got my exercise in at the same time. Quite pleasant even though I lost the sunshine and it became overcast.

Yesterday the overcast got very heavy in the late afternoon. At 15:00 it was dark enough in the front room to make me put the light on..... By 19:30 it had cleared up a bit but was of course dark by then. This morning it is calm and clear. The glass has risen to 1020mb and the forecast is for a dry sunny day. The constant east wind is light all day giving a high of 14C and a low of 5C tonight with the wind chill struggling to reach -2C around midday. The outlook is for similar dry weather all week.

Yesterday it stayed fine and we went to Skipton, lovely run, look around the castle and chippy lunch.
This morning is bright and sunny again, with just the odd wisp of cloud.
The fat has been harvested off the pork and the finished de-boned article is on its final lap of honour in the slow cooker. I am logging off. See you tomorrow.
The sun still shines....

Yesterday afternoon was sunny and managed to stay that way until it got dark. Then it clouded over but cleared again later in the night. This morning first thing it was overcast but dry, it is still the same but the forecast says it is raining. Perhaps that's a west coast forecast and once more Barlick is benefiting from being more easterly. The glass is down again on 1002mb and the forecast is for an overcast day with light rain..... The SE winds are light to moderate and we can expect a high of 14C and low of 8C tonight with perhaps a -2C wind chill when the winds are strongest. The outlook is for similar temperatures and brighter weather but tending to get cooler as the week goes on.
Later at 04:00. We have the light rain.....
