I once asked Roger Perry what his criteria for a good flash were. He said it should be able to light the side of Pendle Hill.... :biggrin2:

Mine has a guide number of 58 so I'd struggle with anything over 20ft away.

I've linked this article here because it involves fake photography. In particular see the final image - a man with three arms!... :laugh5:

The fakes are so good there is only one defence for your average voter. Ignore all photographs included in campaign reporting or literature. With my bad eyes, in the right (or wrong!) conditions I could even be fooled by the three armed man.
(I sometimes wonder if the human race has evolved too far and is too clever for its own good!)

I didn't know about the gorilla experiment and those fakes are still good enough to fool me (apart from the historical ones..... :good: ) How do I know that Guido is telling the truth?
I always had the same problem with religion...... :biggrin2:

The water resistant capabilities of the Nikon D720 came in handy on Saturday, it was very wet in Kettlewell. The bride and groom got a bit wet too :biggrin2:

I advertised all my old Olympus kit on Facebook Marketplace a few months ago. I'd forgotten all about it and it was in the back of the cupboard in my office. Someone messaged me this morning and come and bought all of it, result :good:

I wasn't expecting to sell it as it's no longer manufactured.

Treated myself to a Nikon 55-300mm lens, off the back of the wedding shoot. A bargain from eBay, should be here before the week is out :good:

Very pleased with the lens, it looks brand new. The autofocus is precise but not the fastest, it'll do for me :good:

I posted this a couple of weeks ago, I wondered if anyone would notice it had been 'doctored'. I increased the size of the moon as it was far too small in the original image, I reckon I got away with the deception :biggrin2:
