Yesterday was another re-run and slightly warmer because the wind was lighter. We had late sunshine when I went to bed at 19:00 and I think it has been a clear night. It is certainly calm, clear and cool now.... The glass is up slightly on 1027mb and the forecast is for a day of full sun again. The constant easterly winds are light to moderate and we can expect a high of 14C and a low of 1C tonight with a wind chill of -2C for much of the day. It will be very warm until Sunday when we have cloud and lower temperatures figuring in the forecast.....

Still sunning, and not as nippy out this time in the morning.

Same here Gloria....
Yesterday afternoon was warm and sunny and we had late sun until dark. It was clear during the night I think and this morning it's calm, clear and milder. The glass is up on 1030mb and the forecast is again for a day of full sun. The light wind starts in the east but by 07:00 will be westerly and stays like that all day. We can expect a high today of 16C and a low tonight of 1C with a wind chill of -2C from noon onwards. We can expect two more semi-tropical days and then it will cool a bit and be cloudier but still dry with sunny spells.

We start another gift of a day with a calm, clear morning. The glass has dropped a bit to 1024mb and the forecast is for a clear day, sunshine wall to wall. The constant west wind is light all day and we can expect a high of 19C and a low of 4C tonight with a very light wind chill that might reach -2C at times. It's going to be the warmest day of the year so far here in Barlick.... We can expect one more good day tomorrow and then on Sunday the temperature drops, the clouds roll in and we can expect some rain..... The long awaited April Showers no less!

Well it’s different here this morning, no sunning, we have a mist which is either coming up from the river, or coming down off the fell. Hopefully it will burn off soon.

We had the same experience Gloria, it was overcast until almost 10:00.
Yesterday was another sunny day and slightly warmer than the day before despite the early overcast. We had late sun. We get a full moon tomorrow and last night it was clear and almost daylight during the night. This morning it's calm and clear. The glass is down a touch on 1012mb and falling. The forecast is for sun until mid afternoon and then the clouds come in and we will have rain later on in the evening. Looks like the end of summer! the light winds start in the east but by 10:00 are in the south and backing into the west for the rest of the day. We can expect a high of 19C and a low tonight of 6C with a wind chill that could get to -3C in mid-afternoon. The outlook is for bright overcast with sunny intervals and temperatures round about 12-13C.

Morning Cathy, I see what you mean! Never mind, your Autumn is coming and it will hopefully cool down a bit.
We have a cloudless sky and will soon have full sun....

Yesterday afternoon the clouds rolled in and we lost direct sun early in the afternoon. There were clear spells during the night allowing the full moon to light up the streets almost like day but then clouds took over and we had light rain. This morning we have a breeze it's overcast and while it is dry, we have evidence of a recent very light rain shower. The glass has fallen sharply to 995mb and the forecast is for the heavy overcast to brighten by dawn and we can expect a day of sunny intervals and light showers. The westerly winds will be moderate and gust to 30mph around midday giving us a high of 13C and a low of 3C tonight with up to -3C wind chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for two days of showers and then brighter drier weather but similar low temperatures.....

We’ve had a light shower overnight, and it is still overcast, looking like more rain.

It's brighter here in Barlick now, still overcast but not looking like imminent rain. I shall chance a walk to the Co-op.....

A nice sunny end to the day, there's a bit of a chill in the air but the sun is warm on my face.

Sunday a sunny start later overcast with a bit of rain- that seemed to have brought I think sarahan sand in it ( unless its tree pollen ) as far as the south london weather has been. no idea what is forecast to fall or blow from where

That struck me as well Kev. Colder than I was expecting....
Yesterday the late sun faded before nightfall in Barlick. We had occasional clear spells during the night and first thing this morning but it's overcast now. We have more wind and it's chilly. The glass is up a bit on 1000mb and the forecast is for sunny intervals and dry until the late part of the morning and then overcast and light showers until the end of the day. The mainly southerly wind will be brisk and gusts to almost 35mph at times. We can expect a high of 13C and a low of 6C with a -3C wind chill for much of the day. The outlook is for similar temperatures and April showers out of the overcast for much of the week.

We had the same experience in Barlick Gloria.
Yesterday was sunnier than expected and I never saw the showers they forecast. At bedtime there had been a damping of rain but that's all. As far as I saw it was overcast all night. This morning it's overcast and calm and the flags show evidence of a light shower of rain. The glass is down on 956mb and the forecast is for a dry day but heavy overcast all day. The constant easterly wind will be light all day and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 6C tonight with a wind chill never more than -2C. The outlook is unchanged, similar weather all week.

Down the country a bit, in Stratford on Avon, the weather has been fine with odd bursts of sunshine. Some rain forecast but not forthcoming yet. We are hoping it will stay fine early evening as we are dining out at one of the Italian restaurants in town. It's about a ten minute walk from our hotel. Our Ruby is looking forward to it. Hotel is good we got upgraded when we signed in which gives us a bigger room. Excellent breakfast facilities this morning, Hotel du Vin, we noticed they have one in Harrogate as well.

Yesterday we managed to stay dry but didn't see a lot of the currant bun. It was cool enough in the night to kick the CH into gear and this morning it's overcast, calm and we have light rain. The glass has eased back a notch to 954mb and the forecast is for an overcast and rainy day. The forecast says that the easterly win is brisk and gusting to almost 35mph all day but we haven't seen it yet. We can expect a high of 9C and a low tonight of 4C and there could be as much as -5C wind chill during the day. It's going to feel cold all day so wrap up well. The outlook is brighter and slightly warmer but not much!
Later at 07:00. We haven't got that blustery wind yet..... Just very light rain.

It didn’t rain much yesterday, just enough to dampen the flags. Today is overcast and on and off mizzling.

I've just got back from a short walk to the Co-op. We have mizzle and the wind is reaching us now, it's a very cold breeze!

Yesterday afternoon ended with our first proper rain, the rest of the showers have been mizzle but the later rain was proper wetting stuff! I think we have had an overcast night and this morning there is evidence of a light shower earlier during the night but this morning is breezy, cool overcast and dry. The glass is up on 1004mb and the forecast is for a dry day with sunny intervals. The constant westerly winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 3C during the night with a wind chill that starts at -5C this morning but by evening has dropped beck to -1C which means it will be feel much warmer later in the day than yesterday. The outlook is dry, brighter and a little warmer.

Fine and bright this morning, although there is an odd dark cloud floating about it doesn’t look or feel like rain.
