Steak pudding and baked beans for breakfast. I casseroled spicy chicken wings with tomatoes, chopped onion and veggies. Had half of that with mashed veggies for tea.

I agree Maz. I had cheese and tomato on a Ciabatta roll for breakfast and enjoyed it so much I had the same for tea on Spelt Bread. Not very hungry.

Bacon, eggs and tomatoes for breakfast. Cheese and tomatoes for tea. Still not very hungry, I think my day was too busy, slept for England and in bed by 21:00!

Went to tidy the Rhubarb up this morning and dispose of old leaves - found a late crop of Rhubarb growing underneath, much to my delight.
So Rhubarb Crumble now cooking in the oven. Free food.

That was a nice surprise Maz. :biggrin2:
Steak pudding and a few frozen peas for breakfast and Nibbled at Cheese and tomato for tea, again, not very hungry but as usual I suspect I ate too much. Old habits die hard!

I cooked yesterday. Breakfast was a steak pudding with some mashed carrots and parsnips but the main event was this...

Image

Chicken wings with tomatoes and veggies slow roasted for about 4 hours at a low temperature. I mixed it with the mashed veggies and after extracting a portion for tea it all went back in a big pan and is sat in the fridge. That's the next few days taken care of and it tastes lovely!
I constantly marvel at the miracle that takes place when tomato, vinegar and good olive oil sit there gently bubbling for an hour or two......

That looks nice Maz! I could fancy it, I had bacon egg and tomatoes but without the pastry lattice. Tea was almost the last of the chicken wings and roast veggies.

Chicken and Veg Soup. Incantations muttered whilst stirring it, so all fully protected here.
Fridge and Veg bin all clean, awaiting supermarket shopping tomorrow. ( a straight edge as someone would say)
